Ohio Lottery - Lottery ticket purchasing

I really like how simple it is to add points to my account. I don't understand why there aren't any rewards in the online catalog, maybe I'm not checking the right place.

I've read lots of reviews where people faced issues scanning their tickets, but I never encountered any such problem. The scanner recognized my ticket immediately and surprisingly fast too! Although, it's disappointing that I haven't won anything yet given that the draws are quite costly. It costs 30 points for one entry, with $1 tickets giving 1 point, $5 tickets giving 5 points, and so forth. Also, I'd prefer to provide my email address as my contact information if I happen to win as I don't have a phone number. Kindly consider this request!

So, the Ohio Lottery app is really glitchy. When you scan a barcode, sometimes it just doesn't work at all and the whole app freezes up on all my devices too often. Plus, the Rolling Cash 5 coupon doesn't even work. I'm really hoping they can fix all these issues with an update soon. It's also pretty annoying that you have to keep signing in every time you close or minimize the app and then open it again. This is such a hassle, don't you think?

I've tried using this app on several phones before, but it feels like it only works properly about 60% of the time. Its primary purpose is very straightforward, just one job to do, yet almost half the time it fails to accomplish that task. It's not due to issues with my internet connection, as I'm familiar enough with how the internet functions, so that's strike one. Nor is it because of any mistakes on my part, since I can navigate it without any trouble slightly more than half the time. Strike two. I suspect the app may be designed to only function well on specific makes and models of phones, namely the pricier and more popular ones. That would be strike three.

The scanner doesn't work properly, unless under natural light. The app as a whole is bad. It keeps shutting down and shows errors when redeeming rewards. I have a Samsung phone that many people use, so it's not the phone's fault. UPDATE: Got a different phone, same issue. I recommend using a different company's app. If a private company had the same quality, people wouldn't accept it. But since this app is supported by the state...
