How to find products

Search results

Okazii.ro uses a complex search engine to generate results. The default sorting – relevance – takes into account several aspects such as: the search term, the product characteristics, the services offered by a seller or the quality of the seller.

Information in search results lists

In the search results lists, in addition to the product title, photo, and price, other relevant information is displayed so that you can easily compare offers:

– Seller's username

– Total number of seller ratings and percentage of positive ratings

– Shipping cost

– Product features (invoice, warranty, new or used product)

– Time remaining until the offer expires

– Discount – if a product has had its price reduced

– Original product brand – if the seller is an official distributor for certain brands

By clicking on the " Product Info " link, you can access a lot of information about a specific product directly from the search results list.

Types of sales

There are 4 types of sales available on Okazii.ro:

1. Instant

2. Standard

3. Mokazie

4. Announcement

Instant sale (fixed price)

Instant selling is the most common and easiest way to buy a product. It allows buyers to place an order at a fixed price, with contact details being sent instantly to both parties involved in the transaction.

Standard Sale (Auction)

In the case of Standard sales, the seller sets the starting price for the product and the winner is declared the user who, at the end of the auction validity period, has the highest bid registered.

Buyers can activate an auto-bidder for Standard and Mokazie sales, a tool that automatically places bids for the buyer up to the maximum amount set by the buyer.

RESERVED PRICE AND BLITZ PRICE (BUY NOW)

The reserve price is the minimum price at which the seller is willing to sell the product. This price is not displayed to buyers, but when they place lower bids, they are informed that their offer did not exceed the reserve price.

The Blitz or Buy Now price is the price at which an auction can end early. If a buyer places a bid at this price, they are declared the instant winner.

THE AUTOBIDDER

On the product page, the buyer enters the maximum amount they are willing to bid. This is confidential and cannot be seen by other bidders or the seller.

When a bid is placed on the product, the auctioneer will automatically place a higher bid.

If a sale has a reserve price, the auctioneer will place at least the reserve price from the beginning.

If multiple buyers use an autobidder for a sale, the system will make a direct comparison between the two bids and will register the value of the higher autobidder as the current bid, starting from the value of the lowest to which the minimum bidding step of 1% is added.

The system will automatically place a bid on behalf of a buyer that is 1% higher than the maximum amount of the autobidder when, within the same auction, another user activates an autobidder that has a maximum amount equal to that of the first bidder.

The system will automatically send notifications to auction participants when the auto-bidder set by them is exceeded.

If bids are placed in the last minute of the auction validity, the auction validity period will be extended by another 3 minutes. The 3-minute extension will be made each time bids are registered in the last minute.

Mokazie type sale

The Mokazie sale is derived from the Standard one, with the following differences:

– The starting price is always 1 leu or 1 euro.

– It has no reserved price.

– This type of sale can only be activated by sellers who have an overall rating higher than 2, and only buyers who have an overall rating higher than 2 can place offers within it.

Advertisement

Ads allow contact information to be displayed on the product page. There is no transaction fee for these types of sales, but there is a listing fee, the amount of which may vary depending on the category in which the ad is activated.

Ads can only be activated in the following categories:  Services , Real Estate , Cars , Vans , Business and Industry.

How can you buy

Buying without an account

Even if you do not have an Okazii.ro user account, you can place an order for the desired product. On the login page, you must choose the option “Buy without account”. To complete the transaction, you must confirm the email address provided along with the phone number. You can also make purchases simply and quickly by logging in with your Facebook account.

Shopping cart

To purchase products through the shopping cart, simply use the “Add to Cart” button on the product page or search results page. To complete your order, you must access your cart, fill in your delivery details, and submit your order.

Only Instant offers can be added to the shopping cart.

From mobile

The products available on Okazii.ro can also be purchased from mobile devices. You have applications available for iPhone , iPad , Android . You can also buy the desired products from the mobile version of the site: m.okazii.ro.

Request for quote

What is a request for quotation?

The request for quotation is a free tool through which buyers can request offers for certain products or services even if they are not listed on Okazii.ro.

Operating mode

The request for quotation can be sent by accessing the page http://www.okazii.ro/cerere-oferta/ To send a request for quotation, it is enough to fill in the name of the desired product, a description of it, the category it falls into and the validity period of the request. To receive a good offer as quickly as possible, make sure that you have specified all the information that the seller needs. This will reach all sellers on Okazii.ro who have chosen to receive requests for the category selected by you.

With each new request for quotation, all sellers are automatically notified by us via email.

Sellers will respond to you via a product. All responses received from sellers will be displayed in the Sent Requests for Quote section . Here you will be able to see what the best offer received is and if you are satisfied with it you can place the order as for any product on the site.

To use this service, you must have an active Okazii.ro user account.

The service is only available for categories in the Auto, motorcycle, parts, accessories section .

Delivery and payment

Delivery

The delivery of the products is exclusively provided by the seller. Each seller may offer several payment methods for their products, which are displayed on the product page.

The 3 delivery methods are:

– Delivery by courier

– Delivery by post

– Personal delivery

Courier delivery is the fastest and most convenient delivery method - you place your order online and receive the product at the address you indicated.

The main advantage of postal delivery is the large coverage area without additional costs. However, to pick up the package, you will have to go to your local post office.

Personal delivery involves meeting the seller directly at a mutually agreed upon location. It is advisable that the meeting place be a public one, to be completely safe.

Payment for products

There are 5 ways to pay for products:

– Cash on delivery

– Card payment

– Payment via digital wallet

– Upon delivery

– Advance payment to the seller's bank account

Cash on delivery is a payment made by the buyer when he receives the product by courier or, in the case of postal deliveries, when he picks up the product from the post office.

Payment by card is made online, via credit/debit card. You pay for the product when you place the order, and upon receipt of the package you do not need to pay anything. All transactions paid in advance by credit card are covered by the Delivery Guarantee .

Cash on delivery is when a product is delivered in person. In this case, the buyer pays for the product when they meet the seller.

Advance payment requires you to pay the full or partial value of the product into a bank account indicated by the seller. We recommend using this payment method only when the seller has a good history on the site (a large number of positive ratings).

Payment with loyalty points allows you to pay for part or all of the value of a product using loyalty points that you automatically accumulate when you purchase products with the Delivery Guarantee or paid online, by card. The number of points you can use will be displayed on the order form. Payment with loyalty points is available to authenticated users for both normal purchases and for the shopping cart.
