OneBusAway - Bus routes & tracking

Using this app was difficult because you had to click on many things and it didn't explain how. You have to click at least five times, even on hidden menus, just to see the whole route. It wasn't clear how to use the app properly. At least once you see the route info, it does show which way the bus is going, unlike Transit. The app only has seven cities to choose from.

You know, I kept trying to send this problem report over and over again, but every time, it just wouldn't go through. It kept saying, "Can't send report. Give it another shot!" Here's the issue I was trying to tell you about. So, there's this 105 bus to the mariner P&R from UW Bothell/Cascadia College on Sundays, right? Well, for some reason, none of those trips were showing up on your app. I waited and even loaded more trips, but nothing showed up until after 8pm. Then, when I tried selecting the next stop, suddenly the trips appeared for that stop. I was catching the first ride of the day on that bus.

I rely on Lyft when I need it. I'm 74 years old and live off my retired school psychologist pension. Money-wise, I have to use public transportation. But the transit schedule in my Lyft app doesn't let me plan ahead for the next day! The bus schedules only show a few hours into the future. Thankfully, with OneBusAway, I could look at the timetables in reverse until I found a plan that got me where I needed to be at the right time. Then I could work my way back through the plan to see when I should catch the first bus. But now what do I do?

The app for bus routes and times is having issues lately. Sometimes it says the bus is "on time" but then switches to "delayed", and when I check other apps the bus has already come and gone. I've complained several times about this, but nothing has changed. The app also doesn't include information about construction or closed stops by Metro. It used to be great, but now it's not so reliable for Seattle anymore.

I love using this app! It tells me precisely when my ride will arrive. If it's running ahead of schedule or behind, it informs you. But make sure to double-check a couple of times before you start getting ready to leave and catch the next bus because the timings can change quickly. For example, I planned to catch the 9:00am bus, but the app indicated it would come at 9:09. As I left for the metro, I checked the app again, and it showed that it would be 4 minutes early! So I had to rush or wait another 16 minutes.

One Bus Away is a great app for getting around downtown Tampa! It helps you navigate the bus routes efficiently. Sometimes the time schedules on the app are displayed in military time, like 14:46 for example. Overall, with One Bus Away, I've been able to easily find the right bus to get to work or appointments on time.

This thing is always in my hand. It's like a trusted guide, always showing me the right way. If you use public transit, this is something you absolutely need to have with you.
