The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, launched Pakistan Citizen's Portal (PCP) in October 2018.

Functioning

The Pakistan Citizen's Portal operates under the Prime Minister's Performance Delivery Unit (PMDU).

Other platforms

The Pakistan Citizen's Portal launched its web-based services and helpline on 28 September 2020.

In October 2020, manual complaint lodging facility was provided at the dashboards of government offices for illiterate and physically challenged people.

Achievements

The Pakistan Citizen's Portal was ranked as the second best government app in the World Government Summit held in Dubai, out of a total 4,646 mobile applications by 87 countries.

    There's a problem with opening the app. An error pops up, and when you press "ok," it takes you to an update notice. But when you try to update through Playstore, there's no update available. So, I'm stuck - not sure if my app is already updated or if there's a problem preventing me from opening it again. Can you please help me fix this? I have an ongoing complaint and they require details. Thank you.

    If you're writing a complaint and accidentally press the back button, the application will close without giving you the option to save or discard your complaint. Also, there's no way to temporarily save a complaint as a draft. If your mobile turns off or you receive a call or message while writing, you won't be able to reopen your complaint and will have to start over. Additionally, there's no tag for complaints to track new actions performed on them.

    The app and its services are so great. I believe there's still room for improvement, like adding the option to cancel an ongoing complaint. It would also be helpful if we could change our feedback, maybe switching from negative to positive or vice versa.
