This app is really good and useful. I’m giving it four stars instead of five because the camera struggles with focusing when scanning QR codes. Even with a great camera, it doesn’t focus well up close or from a distance. Aside from that, I haven’t had any issues. I’ve been using this app for about two years. It would be great if the focusing issue could be fixed.

Starting off, the app's interface feels really outdated, hard to navigate. The settings can be confusing. Performance drags down the overall experience. One standout issue comes with transferring RAW files and videos to a phone. Usually, when attempting to download a 4K video at 100mbps, the photo app throws an error saying it cannot transfer the video due to an unsupported format. That’s frustrating. But here’s the kicker: when doing a BATCH TRANSFER, the app suddenly manages to download everything, including those problematic 4K videos and RAW photos! Quite the inconsistency there!

I find it hard to call anything perfect, but this app definitely gets the job done. I would love more editing options for my photos. Right now, it mainly serves as a transfer tool. As I dive deeper into photography, I realize there’s so much more I want to do. Having everything in one place would save a lot of time and hassle. Paying monthly to store my photos adds up quickly. Photography isn’t an inexpensive hobby. It would be fantastic to handle more tasks all within the same app.

The Lumix FZ82 camera control through the app feels a bit clunky. Launching the app takes time. Connecting the WiFi each time adds another step. It can be frustrating to lose internet access on the phone while using the app, especially with mobile data on. Improvements could definitely make this process smoother. Editing or deleting images through the app would also elevate the experience. That added functionality could really enhance usability and convenience.

A lot of people find it difficult to connect a camera. I have a tip for you. I use the GM1 with my phone or iPad. I started by selecting the "connect to a smartphone" option and entered the SSID along with the passcode. After several tries, I finally connected and saved those settings. Now it’s easy to reconnect. Before this, the process was really frustrating. But now there's another problem. The camera demands location tracking even when I’m not using it. It's hard to believe.

You’re getting back into photography with the G85 and power zoom. It’s handy to control everything from your phone for recording meetings and promoting your business. The connection tends to drop often, which can be frustrating. Finding those security settings takes some effort, but once you learn how to adjust them, it really pays off. You would love a faster connection process each time you start using it. There must be a setting that simplifies this for you.

It works sometimes. This morning, it connected to my phone easily. I transferred images without any issues. In the afternoon, things changed. It refused to connect. I tried my phone and tablet, but nothing worked. I found it simpler to just turn on my laptop, use a USB cable, upload images to the cloud or send them via Bluetooth to my tablet. The app feels pointless.

Before the recent update, connecting and sharing to my Android was a real hassle. After countless attempts, I finally managed to make it work. Now, things seem better with connections since the update, but pictures just don’t show up on my phone. What’s the point of this? I’ve transferred five times already, and nothing appears in my gallery. It’s frustrating! Honestly, I need a new camera anyway, but I definitely won’t be going back to Panasonic. No way!
