Papumba adds new activities and games to its app every week, so there is always something new to try. For users who struggle with choosing new things to do, this can be the perfect way to introduce some flexibility practice into their day. The user can try new topics or new activities and still find a wide variety of options to choose from. Encouraging the user to try something new at least once a day will ensure that this skill is practiced and reinforced every time they open the app. 

Planning: Developing a systematic approach for setting and achieving goals.

Many of the activities in Papumba require that the user think ahead about what they are going to do. For example, there is an activity where the user chooses clothing appropriate for a certain type of weather. The user opens the door, looks outside, and makes a plan for how to dress the character based on what they observe. If the plan is successful, the character will run outside and play. If they did not plan and chose random clothing, their character will not want to play and will return inside to change clothing. Other academic activities such letter writing require the user to plan out how they will draw the letters. These planning activities are fairly low-stakes and appropriate for young children as an early entry into practicing this skill.
