What is ParentSquare?

ParentSquare is a safe and secure platform designed for school-to-home communication. It offers features such as two-way group messaging, private conversations, district-wide alerts, notices, and an easy-to-use interface that fosters connectivity, thereby creating a dynamic school community.

In today's educational technology landscape, schools require a more effective communication system than traditional methods like hard-to-track emails, misplaced flyers, overlooked robocalls, unacknowledged website updates, or utilizing Student Information Systems (SIS) or Learning Management Systems (LMS) primarily intended for student communication. ParentSquare introduces the transformative potential of educational technology to parents, breaking away from the trend of fragmented, one-way communication that often relegates parents to passive observers in their child's educational journey.

Recognizing the necessity of widespread adoption within schools, we have strived to maintain an intuitive interface for ParentSquare, mirroring the familiarity of social tools prevalent in today's digital world. ParentSquare accommodates all parents, including those less familiar with technology.

When you click on notifications, it doesn't show you the new message or post. It just takes you back to what you were looking at before. Also, there's no option to save a draft when writing a message. And you can't search through your old messages either. If you try to leave a draft without sending it, there's no warning that you might lose your progress. Sometimes, the app randomly sends message notifications, and other times you don't get notified when someone writes to you.

Being able to easily connect with teachers, administrators, or staff is becoming crucial for remote learning success. Having direct access to information and support from teachers is really helpful. I wish all schools would adopt this platform in the future.

Parents, listen up! I found a fantastic tool for you. It's great for keeping in touch with the school. The layout is super efficient and it's a breeze to keep track of all your kids. Out of all the apps I've used for school stuff, this one is definitely the top choice.

Oh man, let me tell you about this app I've been using. It's been a real struggle, like trying to find your way through the Bermuda Triangle! Sending direct messages to the teachers? Forget about it. And don't even get me started on those homework reminders—they're nowhere to be found! Plus, every single time I want to go back a page, I have to double tap that back arrow. It's so frustrating and really throws me off. #notagreatexperience

Parent Square is fantastic for keeping track of what's going on at my son's school and in his classroom. It's really convenient to have all the information I need in one app for the whole district instead of switching apps every school year. It's nice to have that consistency.

I'm having trouble updating my notification settings. Every time I attempt to enable App Notifications, it switches back to disabled within a second. There are no conflicts in my phone's global settings, so I'm not sure what's going on. I missed important messages during the summer because of this. With schools changing their plans daily, it is essential for this feature to work properly.
