How do I change my name details?

Using the app, navigate to the Menu to access options under Settings. Select Profile > Update. After your changes have been made, hit Save.

How do I change my payment details?

From the app, navigate to the Menu to access options under Settings. Select Wallet Details > Update Payment Card > Enter in the new credit card information and hit Save once completed. The update can be confirmed on the Wallet Details screen next to "Funded by" which will show the last 4 digits of the card you entered.

How do I change the reload amount for my wallet?

Simply open the app and go to Menu > Wallet Details and select a default amount next to Reload Amount ($20, $30, $40, $50, etc., up to $100). The next time you create a parking transaction and your wallet balance falls below the amount required for the parking session, the wallet will reload (after you confirm the reload through a pop-up message) with the default amount you selected. Remember, when setting up your wallet you had chosen your reload amount and payment method. If you park often, you may consider increasing the reload amount.

How do I pay for parking?

When you sign up for ParkChicago®, you link a credit, debit or branded pre-paid card to your wallet. The chosen payment method is used to pre-load your wallet with at least $20, up to $100. Each time you use ParkChicago®, the cost of your parking session is deducted from your pre-loaded wallet. If you attempt to initiate a parking transaction causing your wallet to drop below zero, you will be asked to reload your wallet with the reload amount and method of payment you selected (at least $20), plus any additional increments needed to cover your parking transaction. However, if your wallet cannot be reloaded due to a linked card with an insufficient balance, your transaction will be declined until you link a valid credit, debit, or branded pre-paid card with a sufficient balance to your wallet.

Can passenger vehicles park in commercial loading zones?

No, passenger vehicles cannot park in commercial loading zones designated by red ParkChicago street signage. Passenger vehicles are at risk of receiving a citation should they park in a commercial loading zone.
