How can I send money with the Paycell App ?

To make money transfers with Paycell App, you should download it from the Google Play Store (soon to be available on the App Store). To connect :

-Provide your UK or EU mobile phone number,

-Enter the confirmation code received via SMS in the related input field and create your password to login,

-On the app’s home page, you should click the Send Money button,

-Then select the destination country, select the amount to send, select the receiving and transfer methods and use a promotion code if you have one,

-Add a recipient by filling in the required fields or choose one of the existing one if you have already added before,

-Select the transfer reason and the origin of funds from the drop-down lists,

-Then before moving to the payment, confirm the transfer amount, the exchange rate, transfer fees, discount, amount to be paid, etc. on the transfer preview screen,

-Fill in your credit card details if your transfer method is Card Transfer, if you chose Instant Transfer add your bank preference and email information and if you like to manual transfer make your transfer to the given Paytop bank account and when it is done, complete your transfer by via "I made this transfer" button.

-If this is the first time you are using the app and have not uploaded your identity documents yet, add your identity documents afterwards. You can also go to the « Profile » section and complete the required fields under the Documents tab by uploading necessary documents before you initiate a transfer,

-Once your identity documents are validated, your card/bank account will be debited and your transfer will be executed,

-You can check the status of the transfer in the « Transaction History » section in the home page.

What are the available transfer methods when I am sending money through the Paycell App?

You can pick an option that suits your preference from the three different methods available;

-Card Transfer from your debit/credit card,

-Instant Transfer from your bank account with an online payment,

-Manual Transfer from your own banking application.

What is the difference between each transfer method?

Depending on the transfer method that you choose, you can use your debit/credit cards, you will be directed to online bank transfer of your bank to send money or you will get the Paytop - Paycell account details and make the transfer manually on your own mobile banking app and mark for completion back on the Paycell App. With the varrying level of speed and ease in between the three different methods results to changes in transfering costs as well. You can review details for each method through the selection and transfer screens before you iniatiate your transfer.

Can I send money using my credit card?

Yes, you can use both your credit and debit cards to send money through the Paycell App with 3D Secure payment processing.

How does the Card Transfer method work?

If you are making a transfer for the first time after completing the identity verification process, you need to choose the receiving method and select Card Transfer option from the transfer methods. Following this screen, you will first be directed to adding a recipient (If you have already added a recipient, you can choose one of the existing ones) then to the transfer preview. After these steps, you need to enter your card information and then you should complete 3D Secure Payment verification. After completing all these steps your transfer will be ready to be processed by us.

I picked the instant payment method but the recipient still did not receive the money, how much time does it take?
