Hey, heads up! If you're thinking about downloading this app, hold on. The most recent update is flooded with ads. They're literally all over the place on every page. They keep popping up and taking over my entire screen every 10 seconds. It's seriously impossible to do anything. I get they need to make money, but this is just too much. I used to spend a lot of time on this app because I enjoy personality typing, but now it's a struggle to use it at all. Oh, and guess what? The app just crashed on me in the middle of a huge comment that I was working on. And the reason? An ad! Can you believe it?

I really like the new design of the app. It's so enjoyable to browse through. There are many nice and respectful conversations to take part in, and it's a relief that there aren't any political or moralistic opinions being pushed on us like on other social media apps. The community is welcoming, the moderators only step in when necessary, and overall, it's a fantastic experience for those who are either just curious about typology or really passionate about it.

I'm glad you're enjoying it! It would be great to have all the desktop site's features on the app, such as adding and removing cast members and downvoting. It's a bit cumbersome to switch between the browser version in the app, especially for tasks like correcting casting mistakes. On a different topic, some users in the PDB community seem self-entitled. That's beyond the developers' control, though.

This app and website are both terrible. You shouldn't use them unless you really have to. They flood your screen with ads and ways to make money. Everything is behind a paywall. You can't even see search results without watching a video. And you need to either pay for a subscription or sit through a whole minute of ads just to open one chat. I never thought I would find an app that's badly designed, but this one definitely takes the prize for being the worst ever.

I remember using this app when it was brand new. It was ad-free and felt like a mini version of the website, perfect for discussing character personalities. That was its sole purpose. Recently, I opened it after six months and promptly deleted it. Now it's morphed into a mishmash of database, forum, dating app, and social media with plenty of ads. It used to work fine. It seems the developers got greedy.
