PENUP - Art sharing platform

Hey there! So, I've been using this app and it's pretty good overall, but there are a few things that I think could make it a lot better. For starters, wouldn't it be awesome if you could just spin the canvas around, effortlessly add layers without being super precise when tapping the add button, and have your colors stay consistent across different brushes? Also, when you first open the app and see those big posts, it kinda puts smaller artists at a disadvantage because it can be tough for them to get noticed and grow their following. Oh, and let me tell you, there's a massive issue with art theft on there. It's crazy how many high-quality anime artworks get stolen, and then those stolen pieces end up getting way more likes than the original ones. It's a real bummer for artists trying to showcase their original work.

This app is perfect for doodling and coloring, it's like drawing on a canvas. It's a fantastic little application to let your creativity flow, and it's extremely user-friendly. It's suitable for everyone, regardless of age. There's nothing difficult or complicated about it. One slight drawback is that you can't rotate or tilt your artwork to the angle you prefer, which is a limitation compared to more advanced digital drawing applications. However, this app is still enjoyable and fun to use. Just wanted to give a heads-up for those reading reviews.

So, I've been messing around with this app for like 2 weeks now. I mean, I'm no art expert, but my jam has always been playing the guitar, doing ceramics, coloring in those adult coloring books, and of course, my graphic design work. And let me tell you, trying to get the hang of digital art is tough, but man, it's so much fun! I've been checking out other artists' stuff and trying out different techniques, and it's just a blast. The work I see from everyone else is just so good, it really keeps me motivated. Also, I haven't run into any tech issues or hiccups so far. This app is super polished. Major kudos to the devs for knocking it out of the park! 👏

So, this app has some neat stuff going on, but there's room for improvement. One thing that bugs me is that the drafts don't sync between my tablet and phone. For example, if I sketch something on my tablet, it doesn't automatically pop up on my phone, and vice versa. Also, while the live drawing feature is cool, sometimes when the video pauses, you can't really see the previous actions clearly because the bottom layer covers up the other layers. They've added a small window for the live drawing, which is nice, but it's a bit annoying that it can't just stay there, plus you still can't see all the layers. So, a lot of the live drawings end up not being so useful because of these issues.

I absolutely love this app! The brushes are fantastic, and I adore their textures. I don't mind the limited brush options because I mainly use it for coloring. However, if you like more variety, you might want to consider that. One cool feature I wish they had was the ability to rotate the canvas while working. I'm not sure if that's already included and can be adjusted in the settings, though.

The only reasons why I didn't give it a 5-star rating is because of the auto-fill problem and the automatic cropping that occurs when you import an image to use as a layer. It's frustrating that you can't see the whole image in the frame. If they could fix these issues, this app would definitely deserve a 5-star rating. The developer response made me laugh. Of course I know how to import images; it would be great if I could import the complete image without being forced to crop it.

I really like this app a lot! It's been super helpful in letting me make some awesome paintings - even better than what I can do with real paints on an actual canvas. In fact, I've been able to sell some of my artwork because of it! I do have a few suggestions for improvements, though. First, it would be great if we could dry blend with a brush by maybe adding a "clear" color option. I enjoy using the oil brush to mix marker or acrylic strokes together. Second, having the ability to "dip" multiple colors at once would be fantastic. Imagine being able to create two or more shaded brush strokes for cool effects and blending! And lastly, having higher resolution options and the ability to duplicate canvases for the same painting would be really handy.

I'm so glad you're enjoying the app! It's awesome that you made many friends through it. Your suggestion of adding the ability to create live drawings and more brush options is really cool. Even though creating live drawings might be a bit tricky, I think it would be a fun feature to have. It's great to hear that you love the app so much, even if there are no changes made.
