Can I make private collections?

Yes! Every time you make a collection, you have the option of making it private. Here are the steps:

1. Click on Your Collections (make sure you're logged in)

2. Select the collection you'd like to make private

3. Select Edit

4. Check the box to Make collection private.

How do I create collections on Pexels?

Grouping photos and videos into collections is a useful way to keep the photos you find organized and save them for the future.

You can create collections for pretty much anything. To organize photos based on the project you are working on, the style of photography you like, or simply photos that inspire you. 

How to create Collections?

Hover over any photo (or video) and click the plus sign.

Click on the button "Create Collection" on the right top corner. 

Name your collection. 

How to add photos to Collections?

Hover over any photo (or video) and click the plus sign.

Click on the collection you want to add the photo to. 

Done – You will see a checkmark and green overlay on top. 

Where to find my Collections?

All the collections you've made can be found on your profile page, by clicking the Collections tab. You have the option to make collections private or public by clicking Edit Collection. You can also edit collection titles and add descriptions here as well.

On your profile, you will also find automatic collections of Your Likes and Your Downloads.

How does the Follow feature work?

When you follow a creator on Pexels, their new uploads will show up on your home page while you are logged in and viewing the Following tab.

Hover over any image on Pexels and you will see a preview of the creator's profile. You can then click Follow to follow this person and stay up to date with their latest work. You can also follow someone by clicking the Follow button on their profile page. 

Following creators is a great way to be sure you don't miss the newest content from your favorite photographers and videographers. It also offers you the chance to have a more personalized home page experience.

When you follow another user on Pexels, they will be notified that you have followed them. Follows on Pexels are public, and visitors to your profile can view the people you are following. 

Zoom app for virtual backgrounds from Pexels

Installation

To install Pexels' Zoom app go to https://www.pexels.com/pro/zoom/install/. After logging into your Zoom account, the Zoom client will open and you can start using the Pexels app inside of Zoom.

Usage

With the Pexels app for Zoom you can set any photo or video from Pexels as your virtual background. You can either browse popular backgrounds on the home screen, select a random popular background or search for a specific background. Once you found the perfect background, you need to click on it to set it as a virtual background.

Uninstallation

To uninstall the app follow these steps:

Login to your Zoom account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.

Click Manage > Installed Apps or search for the Pexels app.

Click the Pexels app.

Click Uninstall.
