- Turn Clear Calling on or off

Important: This feature depends on your call bandwidth and may not be available for all calls.

    1. Open your phone’s Settings app.

    2. Tap Sound & vibration and then Clear Calling.

    3. Turn Use Clear Calling on or off.

Tip: To muffle background music, such as hold music, turn on Clear Calling. Turn off to hear background music better.

    So, ever since the recent update, it seems like my phone has this new annoying habit of making me unlock it every single time there's an incoming call. It's such a hassle because before the update, I could easily swipe up to answer the call even if the phone was locked without having to bother with the PIN or fingerprint unlocking process. The only solution I've discovered so far is to uninstall all these updates, disable automatic updates from the Play Store, and just stick with the basic version of the Phone app. Do you happen to have any other suggestions to help me solve this problem? Oh, and by the way, in case you need to know, I'm using a Pixel 4a.

    It's working really well! It's super easy to use and move around on. The only thing that bugs me is that I can't see the written version of a screened call. They say it's saved, but when I try to check, there's nothing there - just an empty file saying who called, but no actual conversation. I also wish I could screen or save outgoing calls. At the very least, let me use a different app to record outgoing calls for safety reasons. Businesses often record us during outgoing calls, so we should have the same option to protect ourselves.

    Oh, I've got the Google Pixel 8 Pro, and let me tell you, it's giving me a real headache. So, here's the deal - the software on my phone is acting up, and even though it's still under warranty until November, Google is saying that all I can do is sit and wait for an update. Can you believe it? I can't even make calls or send texts without having to restart the phone over and over again. And guess what? The service only works for a little while before acting up again. This whole situation has left me feeling super frustrated with this phone and the lack of support from Google.
