Card values are: Jacks (3 points), Nines (2 points), Aces (1 point), Tens (1 point), K, Q, 8, 7 (0 points). This totals 28 points. Some versions allocate 29 points for the last trick, though it's not commonly played that way.

THE DEAL & THE BIDDING:

Players receive four cards each, followed by bidding on trumps. The highest bidder chooses the trump suit and gets four more cards, totaling 8 cards for each player.

THE PLAY:

Tricks start left of the dealer, aiming to follow suit. When any player can't follow suit, they must know the trump suit. The bidder's bid may alter if they or their partner have a Pair.

THE SCORING:

Partnerships total card values won after 8 tricks, adding a point for winning the last one. Fulfilling bid earns a game point; failing loses one. Teams move pips on red and black sixes for scoring, ending with +6 or -6 points.
