The charging for the entire year instead of just the first month was disappointing, but when I contacted POF, they quickly resolved the issue and refunded me. Their customer service is excellent. I would definitely recommend it!

I was locked out and had to register again. Paid for subscription when I registered the second time. After three or four days, they canceled my account. I can't cancel my subscription now and the help center is useless. This happened twice after calling out a scammer. POF is the worst dating site I've ever tried. Update: Contacted the help center and got back on for a day, then locked out again. $59.99 wasted. Don't pay if you use it.

They claim you can freely chat with mutual matches, but if you have too many matches, the app blocks you from messaging without using your daily free message. It's a terrible way to make money. Most user profiles are fake and created by the company to make you pay for membership. It's so obvious. Don't bother using this app.

It helps manage expectations. When I had trouble sending messages, I cleared the cache in the app, and it worked.
