Postmates - Food delivery service

So, I keep getting these free delivery codes from Postmates, which is pretty cool (just a heads up: they're for folks who are already using the service). But here's the catch - every time I try to use them at checkout or in My Account, I get this message saying I can't get the promotion. It's been going on since December, and it's frustrating because I know I should be eligible. I've even taken screenshots to prove it! I really need someone from tech support to reach out and help sort this issue out, because let's face it, this is definitely a tech problem. So, fingers crossed that someone will hear me out, understand what's going on, and get it fixed.

I tried using the app twice, and guess what? It failed both times! The first time, my food arrived super late - we're talking hours here. And just recently, my food never showed up at all. As if that wasn't bad enough, all they did was give me some postmates credit in return. Can you believe that? It's like they're saying, "Hey, we know you paid for a service, but oops, we messed up. Here, take this credit and try again next time." It's like this app is the digital version of GameStop when it comes to trading in stuff.

I've tried it three times already. It's really worth it if you order enough to justify getting the monthly plan. Otherwise, the fees can make it too expensive. I think $9.99 a month seems a bit high. However, the 7-day free trial is really helpful in understanding what to expect and seeing if it's right for you. Plus, when you're sharing a vehicle with your spouse, Postmates will definitely come in handy!

I love using this app! It's a fantastic way to explore different foods in my area without worrying about getting sick. Despite reading some negative reviews, I've never encountered any problems myself. The promotions they offer actually work and help me save money, plus all the delivery drivers have been super friendly. Sometimes an item I want is unavailable, but the delivery person always reaches out to me either by phone call or text message to inform me. Being on campus makes it a bit tricky for them to find me, but they always manage to make successful deliveries without fail. 🌟

My area can be a bit tricky to navigate and with other services, there have been incidents where either the delivery didn't arrive or was sent to the wrong place. But with Postmates, that has never happened, so I really appreciate that.

I've had mixed experiences with this app. The drivers are great, super nice, and always keep in touch with you, which is awesome. But unfortunately, the restaurants are not as reliable. Many times they miss out on items from your order, like forgetting entire meals or drinks. It would be so much better if the restaurants could just let you know directly if they're out of something or explain why certain items were left out of your order. Sometimes, it's just easier to go pick up your food yourself because then you can address any problems immediately.

So, I was promised a $10 discount if I updated the app, but sadly, it never came through. Postmates, oh boy, that service is out there and does exist. Yet, why bother using it? Probably because you're too busy to cook or pick up food, or simply just feeling lazy and don't care about those unexpected charges and price hikes. The app often messes up what you can actually order. Coupons fail to apply many times, plus deals may not always work out. What's the use of trying to save money on an app that seems determined to take it all away, right? LOL!
