FAQs

Why are you relaunching the game?

We’re modernizing Potion Punch 2 to make it feel more fun to play, and for potential ports to PC and Consoles so we can share more of the magic to more players!

Am I losing all my progress?

Technically, yes. Since we’ve changed a lot of the mechanics, the shop layout, and introduced a lot of new features, everyone’s progress will reset back to the beginning. However, based on how far you’ve gone in Potion Punch 2, you will be awarded a corresponding amount of gems to help you get started.

Additionally, you will get to keep some parts of your previous account’s progress – like the skins you’ve purchased, patrons you’ve unlocked (though they will be set to Level 1), and other cosmetics.

We’re also going to give commemorative rewards to old players for being a wonderful fan even before the relaunch!

Why did you change some Worker and Patron abilities?

To accommodate the major changes in the mechanics, we’ve streamlined the character abilities to have better synergy with the new game’s player experience. For example, refilling is now defunct, making Muradin’s old abilities useless.

Are you still working on Potion Punch Rivals?

Yes, we are! We’re hoping to release a new beta version this year based on the feedback from the Alpha tests last year that you all contributed to. More updates soon!
