App Name: Power Apps

Overview: Access your work or school apps conveniently from anywhere, whether you are at home, traveling, in the field, off-campus, at the airport, or even at the beach.

WHAT TO EXPECT

With the Power Apps app, you can seamlessly connect to the apps available at your workplace or educational institution. The range of apps you can use varies according to what has been designed for you.

All the tools you need to manage your professional projects

First of all, it is necessary to remember that this is a tool that requires a Microsoft professional or academic account. This will give us access to a series of applications that connect us with different activities of our organization, ranging from project management to human resources.

We have a range of apps that we can add to the list of tools to use, registering in each of them according to the needs we have. In short, it is a hub for access to all those applications that reduce the gap that can occur between field work and the office, ensuring that we are connected both to our work resources and to the rest of the team.

In Power Apps, moreover, everything has been designed following Microsoft's accessibility and productivity criteria, so that access and use are carried out in a simple way.

Here are a few examples of apps you might encounter, or create yourself using the Power Apps platform:

• Campus App: Navigate your campus with icons representing key locations and facility information.

• Event Registration App: Check-in attendees using barcodes or QR codes.

• Expenses App: Enable employees to submit expenses and upload receipt photos.

• Health Clinic App: Allow patients to easily check-in for appointments.

• NFC Reader App: Scan NFC tags on ID cards, equipment, packages, etc.

• Performance App: Visualize data and gain insights through interactive dashboards.

• Sales App: Monitor opportunities and leads, review comments, and approve for profit and loss assessment.

• Space Planning App: Take 3D measurements and interact with objects in mixed reality.

• Timesheet App: Gather, organize, and analyze shift data from employees.

These examples are just a snapshot; the potential for creating low-code apps for your workplace or school is limitless. Visit the Power Apps website to develop and share your apps.

TIPS

• Swipe right to mark an app as a favorite, swipe left to add a shortcut to your home screen.

• Admins can designate an app as Featured to keep it pinned at the top of the app list.

• Some apps are functional offline, and Power Apps will sync your data once you reconnect.

It's really bad. The zoom feature keeps getting in my way while using the app, which is super annoying. I end up resorting to using it on Chrome instead.

Just got this new app, but no matter what I do - trying over and over, reinstalling, reopening - the screen is stuck on those tips like "swipe left, pinch to zoom" and I can't get into the app no matter how many times I try following them! Can you help me figure out what's wrong with it?

The app I used was kinda buggy. It was slow and took forever to load stuff. Sometimes, when I tried to go back to the previous screen, it wouldn't let me no matter how many times I tapped the back button. They really need to work on fixing it as soon as possible.

So yeah, this update happened and all the apps I had are gone. I have to search for those emails that might be deleted to retrieve them. Microsoft, step up your game!

The concept is awesome and simple to begin with. However, there are various small issues. The android "back" button is still missing, which means that it exits the app straight away. Some of us really need that button to go back to the previous page, so this is a significant user experience problem.

So there's this app that is really bad. I can't move up to respond to questions after the first 5. My phone screen keeps jumping. I deleted and reinstalled it, but it still doesn't work. Please make it better so I can get my work done.

The performance is bad. Always need to log in. Takes forever to open. Another typical Microsoft product that I have to use. Every time there's an update, I have to uninstall and reinstall. If I had a choice, I would get rid of it.

So on my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G, there's this annoying black overlay that keeps popping up on the screen and won't disappear. It shows a message that says "Swipe from the left edge to close app." I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but that didn't fix it. The frustrating part is that I can still use the interface underneath the overlay, but it's tough to see clearly because of the dark screen, especially in daylight.

The 'Optimise Images for Upload' option is gone after the update to 3.20065.12. Powerapps is now really restrictive and difficult to use. Some functions that should be there are missing. Uploading optimized images directly to Sharepoint from laptop and mobile would be a big improvement, but it doesn't seem to be a priority for Microsoft right now.

I've been waiting for Microsoft to create something like PowerApps for over a decade, and they've really outdone themselves! But there are still so many quirks. You can upload images to SharePoint, but you can't read them back into the phone later. Using Image.link to view an image in a browser PowerApps session works fine, but it doesn't work in a PowerApps client session on the phone. Fix this important stuff now!
