If playback stops with the device screen off

This app works in the background, and battery-saving mode may disable it when running in the background.

To prevent app disconnection, disable battery-saving mode or add the "Simply Radio Online" app to exceptions:

Settings > Apps or Settings > Battery

> find the "Simply Radio Online" app.

Under "Battery" or "Background activity control," select "Allow background activity" or "No restrictions."

Permissions such as "Device ID and call information" (READ_PHONE_STATE) are required to stop playback during phone calls.

Permission to "Modify or delete the contents of internal storage" (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) is necessary to record radio station streams (this permission is not required for devices on Android 10, 11, 12).

Permission to "Create Bluetooth connections" (BLUETOOTH) for future functionality of controlling the app with Bluetooth headset buttons.

Permission for "Running in the background," "Keep the app from being put to sleep" (FOREGROUND_SERVICE), (WAKE_LOCK) to prevent app interruptions when the screen is off.

Permission for "In-app purchases" (BILLING) is necessary to activate paid features within the app
