The PTV app allows you to effortlessly plan your journeys utilizing Melbourne and Victoria's trains, trams, and buses, ensuring simple and hassle-free travel.

By creating an account and registering your myki, you enhance security measures. Additionally, opt for auto top-up services for seamless travel readiness at all times.

Create an account and register your myki

If you lose your myki, you don't have to lose your funds. Register your myki to be able to claim lost funds or replace an expired card.

   - Open the PTV app and select the myki icon

   - Select 'create an account' and scan your myki

   - Enter your details and click the 'create' button

Instant top up

Don’t like lining up? Get in the express lane. You can top up instantly with the PTV app, even while you are waiting for your train, tram or bus.

   - Open the PTV app and select the myki icon

   - Scan your myki

   - Add funds straight from your phone

Set up auto top up

Get on top of your top ups with auto top up. Set auto top up so you are never short of funds. You can even set up auto top up for your kids if you manage their mykis.

   - Register your myki and select auto top up

   - Set your minimum balance

   - Choose your auto top up amount

Manage multiple mykis

You can manage your family’s mykis from the one account. Manage up to 10 mykis, check balances and top up instantly, so no one is ever short of funds when they need them.

   - Log into your myki account and select 'add another myki'

   - Scan the myki

   - Enter the details for the myki holder to add the card
