Game rules

Layout:

Use a deck of 52 playing cards, shuffle them and start the layout. Place a card at the top as the apex of the pyramid.

Add one card to each row in turn until there are seven cards in the seventh row, a total of 28 cards.

The remaining 24 cards are used as the "deck" for drawing during the game.

Matching rules:

The value of the number card is its face value (such as 2 is 2, 3 is 3, etc.), A is 1, J is 11, Q is 12, K is 13.

The goal of the game is to remove pairs of cards that sum to 13. For example, 10 and 3, J and 2 can be matched.

K itself is 13 and can be removed directly without matching.

Game process:

Only fully exposed cards (that is, no other cards covering them) can be used.

Exposed cards can be matched with the top card of the deck or the top card of the discard pile.

The cards in the deck are drawn one at a time, and the cards that cannot be used immediately are placed in the discard pile. The top card of the discard pile is always available.

Winning conditions:

Clear all cards in the pyramid to win. Some variants of the game allow you to only clear the pyramid without clearing the deck.
