① First, open the official website of “楽天モバイル” (Rakuten Mobile): https://network.mobile.rakuten.co.jp/

② Since there is only one plan (Rakuten SAIKYO Plan) available, click on “ADD TO CART”

③ You are free to choose additional options to include, such as the 15min Free for Domestic Calls (free for the first three months), International Unlimited Talk, Rakuten Mobile WiFi, physical SIM card, or eSIM, among others.

Once you have confirmed your selections, “SELECT PRODUCT” on the right is for purchasing a phone, while “APPLY” is for not purchasing a phone. Choose accordingly based on your needs.

④ Log in your Rakuten account (if you don’t have it, please register one) Fill in your registration and payment information, then submit your residence card information. After that, patiently wait for Rakuten to review and approve your application.

⑤ Activate your Rakuten Mobile SIM card

After receiving your SIM card, you need to activate it. First, log in to the “my楽天モバイル (my Rakuten Mobile)” webpage. (If you are transferring from another SIM card provider to Rakuten Mobile, you will need to enter your original phone’s MNP number to complete the number transfer process.)

Once you have successfully activated it, insert the new SIM card into your phone and follow the official instructions for the initial setup. After successful setup, you can start using it!

    So, there's this app that's supposed to help with shopping, right? Well, turns out, it's been causing a lot of problems. Sometimes it slows down the app you're using or even throws you out, making you start all over again. It's so annoying! I've missed out on points and good cashback deals because of this issue. Once, when I was about to make a purchase, the app malfunctioned, and when I got back, the offer had dropped from 6% to 3%! This keeps happening way too often. I tried reaching out to Rakuten about it in the past, but unfortunately, they never got back to me. Their contact us option doesn't seem to be working properly either. Overall, this whole situation is just super frustrating and disappointing.

    This app is really advanced and offers great ways to earn rewards. I'm just starting out and excited about the prospect of getting more rewards. I can't wait to receive another payment in the mail. I don't have much left to do before earning a substantial amount of money. Rakuten seems to be a fantastic new and improved app.

    So, the App itself is awesome! I'd give it 4 stars for sure. But here's the thing - the stuff you get after paying that initial $10 fee isn't all that great. A lot of it just doesn't match up to what I need or want. It feels like a bit of a letdown, honestly. It's like playing Monopoly but always landing on those "do not pass Go, do not collect $200" spaces. Personally, I think it's not really worth the trouble. I might still keep using it, but it's definitely not meeting my expectations. Even with that $25 incentive they offer, it's hard for me to recommend it to others.

    I really like the app, especially the cashback checks - they're awesome. The only thing that bothers me is that I sometimes forget to open it when I make purchases, like on Amazon. It would be helpful if there was a pop-up reminder or something to remind me to use the app.

    I would give this app a three-star rating because it's generally user-friendly, but it focuses too much on predicting what you want instead of allowing you to customize your experience. When I first used the app, I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to view all stores sorted by cashback, only to realize there wasn't an option for that. It's a shopping app, so not having sorting and filtering features is really unacceptable in today's world.
