Q1: Why can't I find my city?

If you are unable to find your current location, please try again, making sure that:

iOS

- Enable location services from your device's settings (see Turn Location Services and GPS on or off on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support); Important Note: Location services may not work if you choose While Using the app option, so we recommend that you select Always.

- Be connected to a data network.

Android

- Enable location services from your device settings (see Choose which apps use your Android device's location - Google Support).

- Be connected to a data network.

- Stay outside to ensure a good GPS signal.

Note: You may also need to update the latest version of your operating system.

Q2: How to enable or disable the Suhoor alarm?

iOS

1. Go to the home page and tap the icon next to Alarm.

2. Tap Mode.

3. Select Tone or Disable.

Android

1. Go to the home page and tap General Settings .

2. Tap General Settings.

3. In section Adjustment of Alarms, check Alarm to enable it, or uncheck to disable it.

Q3; How to adjust the hours of Suhoor and Iftar

The Suhoor and Iftar times are calculated based on your location and a set of rules and methods. The application tries to automatically apply the appropriate settings based on your location. In the event of a few minutes difference, you may need to manually adjust the schedules of the Suhoor and Iftar.

iOS

1. Go to the home page and tap General Settings .

2. Tap Adjustments.

3. In the section Manual Fasting Times Adjustments, tap Suhoor Time or Iftar Time.

4. Add or subtract one or more minutes until you get the most accurate time.

5. Tap OK.

Android

1. Go to the home page and tap General Settings .

2. Tap General Settings.

3. In the section Adjustments, tap Suhoor or Iftar.

4. Add or subtract one or more minutes until you get the most accurate time.

Note: The Suhoor and Iftar times are based on the Fajr and Maghrib prayer times. For this reason we advise you first to check the schedules of these, before modifying those of Suhoor and Iftar. Learn more about how to adjust prayer times.

    There's a problem with the alarm on my phone. It keeps selecting its own tone, which happens to be the same as my Facebook Messenger notification sound. This doesn't work for me as it doesn't wake me up. Therefore, I stick to using the default alarm tone on my phone instead.
