Resideo - Smart Home

I used to really like this app a lot. But recently, after reading the reviews, I realized that I'm not the only one having trouble connecting it with my stats. I hope to get some tech support soon. I'm not ready to give up on the app just yet because I believe these issues can be fixed. If the developer responds quickly, I'll be happy to continue using it. Thank you for your help! I've now decided to give it a 5-star rating.

As of January 16, 2021, I have upgraded the rating to 5 stars once I recognized my error. The app is excellent. I linked it with a new Honeywell T9 along with several remote indoor sensors. This arrangement allows me to control the climate just the way I wanted when I bought it. Setting it up is easy. However, be careful. When setting up a schedule with multiple sensors, remember to prioritize each sensor for every event like waking up or leaving home in each chosen time slot. Otherwise, during the scheduled events, it resets the temperature back to the thermostat setting.

I work with HVAC systems, and I chose to install the T6 in my house. It's really simple to use and operates smoothly through the Honeywell Home app. The app itself could use some improvements though. For instance, adding a runtime log that can be checked daily or weekly would be really helpful. With this feature, homeowners would be able to spot any issues with their system before they get hit with a high utility bill.

Setting it up is a breeze. I turned to the help number when needed, and they were really friendly. The system gets updates now and then. It would be great if Honeywell could take into account the local weather conditions when planning these updates. For example, when the temperature drops outside, like when it went below zero while I was in New Jersey trying to adjust the thermostat in Vermont remotely, I had to wait until the next day for it to work.

Our new thermostat's just installed in our old house! We hired someone to set it up. We've got the TCC app connected to Alexa. When we tried it tonight, Alexa said the device wasn't responding. Turns out there's a whole new app upgrade, and our device isn't supported right now by "third-party apps". When will they fix this? We're really upset because what's the use if we can't even access the Smart features?

In November 2023, everything was okay with the app and my thermostat. The app used to work fine, but then it started acting up. Whenever I clicked on it, it would open and close right away. I had to keep opening it again. Plus, it kept asking me to update my preferences even after I already did so. Also, my heat would turn on randomly. I turned it off at night, but when I woke up, it was back on. And now, in April 2024, things have gotten worse. My rating for the app has dropped to 2 stars because I keep having to reset my wifi. The app keeps saying that the thermostat is offline even though I just reset it two hours ago. But now it's offline again! It's becoming really frustrating to deal with these issues.

So, there's this app that keeps crashing when I'm setting up the thermostat. The thermostat itself connects to my wifi just fine, but the app crashes every time at this step. How can I get the thermostat registered online? The whole installation process is really bad and confusing, even for someone like me who knows a lot about technology and has many devices. The customer support was just as bad as the app and installation process. If I can't get this working, I'll have to return all four products.

It's been over a year since I started using the application. I have 7 cameras and three thermostats, all lyric models. Setting them up was a breeze and they work wonderfully! I can keep an eye on multiple locations using just one app. At first, I had some difficulties getting a camera online using my Android phone, but it was smooth sailing with an iPad. Monitoring is a piece of cake with both my Android phone and iPad. Looking forward to another 3 years of hassle-free use!
