Customize the appearance and convenient shortcuts using the Time Machine Configuration app, available for purchase on Google Play! The Time Machine Widget was among the pioneer clock widgets accessible for android and has garnered millions of installations by users throughout the years. This application presents a home screen clock and date widget inspired by the vintage mechanical flipping timepiece. The widgets function as quick links to the device's alarm clock and calendar tools. For alterations in style and functionality (such as colors, opacity, or shortcut functions), adjustments can be made through the Time Machine Configuration companion application, conveniently obtainable on Google Play.

The Retro Clock Widget is one of the most popular clock widgets for Android phones and tablets. It is based on a classical mechanical clock and provides the user with a quick way to check the current time and date. This widget is great for those who want to customize the look and feel of their phone or tablet. The app also allows you to set up shortcuts to the most common alarm and calendar applications.
To customize the look and feel, you can change the colors, transparency, and even the shortcut to your favorite application. You can also set it up to appear on the home screen, lock screen, and notification screen.

User reviews of Retro Clock Widget
I used to really like this widget but now it seems that the time and date doesnt adjust accurately anymore. My time is very often half an hour to 45 minutes late. That's a fairly useless clock if you ask me. [I like adding this to my home screen, even though it's redundant to the clock already in the top corner, this one is eye catching and simple to read. Just something nice to look at. Forecloses sometimes when I use my own home launcher though.] Prior thoughts on this widget.
Last update completely screwed up the aspect ratio on my LG G7. I used to be able to add the 2 x 1 clock only widget and blow it up one size to fit perfectly between 2 rows of app shortcuts on both outside edges of the screen. Now when I try that, it only centers the smaller clock widget, and doesn't blow it up one size. If this isn't fixed quickly, I'm going to uninstall and go with another widget for my clock. NOT happy! UPDATE, developer was very responsive and helpful, fixed in recent update.
No longer updates to correct time since updating to android pie. love the app and have been using for years but needs to be compatible with latest operating system. the time just remains stuck at the time you add the widget and stays stuck. have tried restarting the app or removing and re-adding the widget, clearing cache/settings, uninstalling & reinstalling but nothing makes any difference. please help!
Wow, you all get it! You realized that most other clock and clock/weather widget are stupidly designed - non-sizeable microscopic date and/or time and tap events on date/time that go to the widget's parent app (dumb), instead of a sensible app, like umm, like Clock! While there is no tap configuration here you have simply done the smart thing that 90% of users need. Simple yet so much more useful than the fancy widgets that look pretty but are really dumb on tap actions.
