Ring - Doorbell camera monitoring

I switched from my Ring doorbell to a Google Nest doorbell. Everything was good in the beginning, but after 6 months, the app started messing up by turning off my motion alerts randomly. Even when I tried to fix the settings in the app, the motion alert slider kept moving on its own. I'm not sure what update caused this issue, but I can't deal with missing important alerts anymore. In the end, you really do get what you pay for in terms of product quality.

I've been trying to log into this app, but every time I try, it sends me to the browser, then says my browser isn't supported. Why does it keep doing that? It's so annoying! I followed all the steps on their website to update my browser settings, but no luck. I use Chrome, but it still won't work. And it won't even let me go back to the app like it tells me to.

No matter how many times I adjust the monitored zones, the app seldom alerts me to activity inside those areas. As I write this, there's motion outside my house and I only notice because I'm looking out. It's surprising I receive any alerts considering the battery drains from false "motion" alerts. Additionally, you have to pay to watch videos and saving footage is unreliable.

The RING camera is awesome. Really like the "Snapshot" feature. The picture editing on the phone/camera screen is good. The microphone works well only when someone is at the door. I receive notifications on time, which I appreciate. Overall, I give it a 9 out of 10. However, the App keeps bombarding my phone with notifications, which is annoying and hard to clear from the screen. So, I rate the App as a 2 out of 5 or even lower.

Ring - Always Home has made a big difference in my home security. The app is easy to use, allowing me to keep an eye on my property no matter where I am. The video quality is great, and the motion alerts work well. I enjoy being able to talk to visitors from afar. It gives me a sense of peace. Setting it up was simple, and the features are dependable. I would suggest it to anyone wanting to improve their home security.

Notifications stopped coming after the recent update. I checked my settings and reinstalled the app, but it seems like the update caused the issue. I reached out to support as advised, however, they were not helpful. They kept telling me to do the same troubleshooting steps I had already tried with no success. It seems like Ring is unwilling to acknowledge any mistakes on their end.
