Robot Colony is a mix of strategy and simulation genres, challenging players to construct and oversee autonomous robots in order to safeguard their colony from swarms of large bugs and insects. Utilize your robots for resource gathering, land exploration, and the construction of turrets and bases to bolster your defenses. Efficiently managing resources will ensure a steady production flow and timely robot upgrades, critical for safeguarding and maintaining your colony.

Core Gameplay Mechanics

1.Resource Management:

Players must gather and manage various resources to build and maintain their robot colony. This includes collecting materials necessary for constructing buildings and upgrading facilities.

2.Base Building:

Construct different types of buildings to enhance the functionality of your colony. Each building serves specific purposes, such as producing resources, housing robots, or providing upgrades.

3.Automation Elements:

The game emphasizes automation, allowing players to set up processes where robots can perform tasks without constant oversight. This feature helps streamline operations and increases efficiency.

4.Strategic Planning:

Players need to plan their colony layout strategically to optimize resource flow and ensure that all operations run smoothly. This includes deciding where to place buildings and how to allocate robots effectively.

5.Exploration and Expansion:

As players progress, they can explore new areas to expand their colony. This involves discovering new resources and potentially facing challenges that require strategic thinking.

The game offers user-friendly controls designed for single-handed operation, making it ideal for on-the-go play. With a blend of real-time strategy (RTS) components, players must devise effective strategies to withstand the continuous onslaughts. Expand your territory, discover new regions, and unlock cutting-edge technologies as you progress. And the best part? This game can be played entirely offline. Strengthen your base, upgrade your robots, and brace yourself for the impending waves of giant bugs!

This game is terrible because of several reasons. First, you have no way to fight against the bugs that will destroy you. The defenders are a waste because they die quickly and cost too much. The difficulty level increases too quickly with not enough time between wave to catch your breath. It feels like there's no chance to advance but it could be enjoyable under different circumstances.

It's been a blast playing the game, but there are still some kinks to work out. I'm really thinking about splurging on the speed and no ads options to show my support for the developers! However, there are a few personal gripes I have. The main thing that bugs me is when a base gets taken out, all the defenders head off in another direction, just to attack one measly bug, even though they should be preparing to defend the other base when the bugs come knocking. On a positive note, I absolutely adore the latest update! Yet, currently, the game feels like a teaser. It could use more modes or maps; I've played through the same levels over and over again.

Imagine yourself observing bugs, while imagining small robots equipped with wheels battling against them. This daydream has been a constant in my life because I possess a significant fear of insects. This game accurately encapsulates that fantasy by presenting a simple and beautifully designed interface that ticks all the right boxes. Personally, I would have gladly paid ten dollars for this game, but to my surprise, it was only 2.50 and even offered for a free trial period with no restrictions on time. Therefore, it is definitely worth giving it a try!

Imagine yourself sitting there in real time, not doing anything. You watch as things you created get destroyed by enemies with much more health than your own creations. It's like playing against AI opponents that you usually defeat easily. You have no power to control your own units, and speeding up the game is something you have to pay extra for. The enemies are incredibly tough, making it frustrating to witness your units being wiped out. This "observing your units die" simulation is just not enjoyable to me.

This game has the potential to be amazing, but it's missing a few key features. Firstly, the builder and loader look too similar; they need distinct designs. Secondly, players should have the ability to control fighters individually or as a group. Right now, they tend to wander off aimlessly when there's a crisis in your kingdom. Lastly, the hornet is too unpredictable; it attacks randomly and can't be stopped. Allowing players to manually control their fighters and send them after the hornet would make the game more exciting and challenging.

Playing this game can be very enjoyable and stimulating, but one frustrating aspect is the scarcity of resources, especially energy. It would be great if there was a perk that could be upgraded to increase the frequency and speed at which energy plants appear in various locations. This would help balance things out as currently, there are too many harvesters that quickly deplete any energy that spawns, leaving none for others. It feels aggravating because it seems like the potential for gaining energy is ultimately limited.

The game is great, but it would be even better if the graphics were improved. It would also be nice to have some additional terrains and obstacles. I noticed that the robots get stuck in one spot when targeting something. For example, whenever they defeat a bug nearby, they pause for a moment before attacking another one, which decreases their efficiency slightly. It's not a major issue, but it could be improved upon. I look forward to seeing these enhancements in future updates.
