RSA Authenticator - Secure two-factor authentication

Update: The app fixed the issues I pointed out. Thank you! Giving it five stars now. Before: App functions, but user experience is bad. Most times, users need to input pin; why not have the pin field ready with keyboard open? Also, why doesn't pressing enter confirm pin instead of just closing keyboard, making users tap Submit? Need a UX designer!

So the update came out a few weeks ago for iOS, but then they took it back and re-released it a few days later. Half of my colleagues have already expressed their dissatisfaction. Now I'm getting ready for the android users to start complaining. Some people have pointed out that this update has actually made things more complicated and less user-friendly: The name and icon have changed a lot, which I agree with. It's now harder to generate tokens. The font is too small, and we really need a dark mode option.

This "card style UI improvement" is a disaster! The update has tiny cards, tiny digits, enter key not working, and no copy button. The ever-white background is hurting my eyes. Just generate the numbers like the previous version did perfectly.

The recent update is not good. The PIN field doesn't get selected automatically, and you can't hit enter on the keyboard to submit the PIN. Do you even test your software? The desktop app is just as problematic. When typing the passcode, it gets interrupted by a notification about the WiFi connection. I face this irritating issue every single day.

It works, but waiting for the numbers to appear like on a slot machine quickly becomes boring. I'm always in a rush, so waiting 2 seconds for a useless animation every single time is very irritating. I tried to turn off the animation, but it seems we're stuck with style over function. Please remove the animation or add an option to disable it.

I have trouble finding this app on my phone because it always times out. I don't know its name, as I can't find it under 'R' or 'S' in my search results. The only way I can locate the app is by opening it from the Play Store. Also, even though there is still time left on the timer, I have to generate a new code every time. Lastly, the app doesn't prompt me; I have to search for it each time. It would be more convenient if the app could pop up when needed like other Authenticator apps do.
