The Ruler App is an ARCore-based tool that utilizes Augmented Reality for precise measurements.

The AR Ruler app employs augmented reality (AR) technology through your smartphone camera to measure real-world objects.

Subscription is charged to your credit card through your iTunes account.

Features include:

1) Line - for measuring linear sizes in various units like cm, m, ft, yd, mm, or inches.

2) Distance meter - used to measure distance from the camera to a fixed point on a 3D plane.

3) Angle - measures angles on 3D surfaces.

4) Area and Perimeter.

5) Volume - measures the size of 3D objects.

6) Path - calculates path length.

7) Height - measures height relative to a recognized surface.

Additionally, the Photo Ruler app accurately measures objects either by capturing a picture or measuring directly on screen, making it as convenient and precise as using a traditional ruler.

Instructions for Using the Ruler App:

For the Photo Ruler app:

1.Ensure the object to be measured and a known length reference item are in the same picture.

2.Align Blue arrows with the Base Item and Green arrows with the object to be measured for accurate results displayed on the screen.

To use the regular mm ruler app:

Utilize your device's screen as a typical mm ruler by placing small objects on it and aligning line limiters accordingly. If calibration needs adjusting, reset manually. Calibration options include Debit/credit card or coin for Imperial (inches) or Metric (centimeters).

Accuracy of the mm ruler app:

With precise alignment, measurements are as accurate as those obtained using conventional rulers or tape measures.
