Product Returns

Can products that have been purchased be exchanged or returned?

If the product you receive is defective/broken/lacking parts/incomplete/inappropriate, please fill in the Submit a Complaint form in the Order Status menu

For your information:

    Official Partners INFORMA, Toys Kingdom, and others accept complaints a maximum of 7 days after the product is received

    ACE Official Partners accept complaints a maximum of 14 days after the product is received

Meanwhile, product exchanges or returns for personal reasons can only be returned in the form of shopping vouchers and cannot be cashed

Guide to submitting product returns

Here are easy steps to request a product return.

1. Log in with a Rurupa account

2. Select the Order Status menu, then select the order number you want to return

3. Select File a Complaint

4. Select the product you want to return, and enter the pickup address

5. Select the reason for the return

6. Enter product photo evidence according to the instructions

7. Select the desired return solution

8. Check the product returns summary again

9. The return application process has been completed

10. Check the status of your application

For your information:

    - Official Partners INFORMA, Toys Kingdom, and others accept complaints a maximum of 7 days after the product is received

    - Official Partner ACE accepts complaints a maximum of 14 days after the product is received

Product Return Terms & Conditions

Order returns (Returns) can only be processed if the User submits a request within 7 (seven) days and 14 (fourteen) days specifically for ACE Hardware products:

    1 Order Delivery: from the time the Order is received according to delivery documents such as "Airway Bill", "Delivery Order", or "Delivery Note".

    2 Order Taking: since the order is taken directly by the User.

    3 Returns submitted for personal reasons cannot be processed for a refund if the initial product packaging has been opened or damaged.

    4 Users must send the Order themselves to the specified return address if the return is submitted for personal reasons/changes their mind by following the points for Returned Product Packaging Terms

    5 The maximum limit for returning products for personal reasons is as follows:

Order return applications can only be processed if the User has completed:

    1 Make an unboxing video from the beginning of opening the package seal.

    2 Product Photos (minimum 3 (three) photos from different sides).

    3 Information and chronology of related events.

    4 Pick-up address of the Order for which the return is requested.

Returned Product Packaging Terms:

    1 The customer must pack the returned product safely and maximally to avoid additional damage during the product return process.

    2 Packaging of returned products must be carried out in the same conditions as when the product was received by the customer (for example using the same box and bubble wrap) including complete product accessories.

    3 Packaging of returned products is the customer's responsibility.

Order returns can be processed if the reason for the return and the condition of the product are as follows:

    1 Damaged product, and/or

    2 Defective products, and/or

    3 The product does not match the description on the Rurupa Platform, and/or

    4 Incomplete product, and/or

    5 The product does not match the order, and/or

    6 Delivery delays, and/or

    7 Personal reasons/change of mind (Users must send the Order themselves to the specified return address if the return is submitted for personal reasons/change of mind).

ruparupa has the right to refuse the return of the Order if the Product suffers from problems or damage caused by the User's negligence such as:

    1 Usage error; and/or

    2 Dropped, hit, or scratched; and/or

    3 Exposed to liquid; and/or

    4 Accident; and/or

    5 Natural disasters; and/or

    6 Installation error; and/or

    7 It has been disassembled; and/or

    8 Altering or damaging warranty stickers, serial numbers, and signs of authenticity; and/or

    9 Modify or repair; and/or

    10 Packaging of returned products that are not in accordance with the Terms of Packaging of Returned Products, causing additional damage to the returned product when it is received back by Ruparupa.

Non-returnable product categories:

    1 Pet food and consumable products such as diapers, oil, cleaning fluid, or paint, unless when received by the User, the Product is open, damaged/defective, expired, smells inappropriate, and/or does not match the Order.

    2 ACE Hardware, Informa, or Toys Kingdom physical vouchers.

    3 NEW MEMBERS INFORMA REWARDS

The estimated completion time for a Product return application is a maximum of 14 (fourteen) working days, starting from the date of the return application.

For the process of returning products without creating a Rurupa account (Guest Checkout) you can do it by clicking here. Refunds for the Guest Checkout process can only be in the form of shopping vouchers. For a refund, please register first with the email used for shopping.

Specifically for purchases at ACE Hardware, you can exchange the same product to a different store according to product availability (RAAS)

Refunds with instant payment methods

The following is the refund process using the instant payment method.

1. OVO

- Order canceled due to system error:

    Funds will be returned in the form of vouchers which can be seen in the My Vouchers menu and can be used for the next transaction or disbursed directly to the account

- Orders canceled due to personal reasons:

    Funds will be returned in the form of a voucher which can be seen in the My Vouchers menu and the voucher cannot be cashed within 1-2 working days

2. GoPay

- Order canceled due to system error:

    Funds will be returned directly to your GoPay balance within a maximum of 3-7 working days

- Orders canceled due to personal reasons:

    Funds will be returned in the form of a voucher which can be seen in the ``My Vouchers'' menu and the voucher cannot be cashed within 1-2 working days

3. QRIS

- Order canceled due to system error:

    Funds will be returned in the form of vouchers which can be seen in the My Vouchers menu and can be used for the next transaction or disbursed directly to the account

- Orders canceled due to personal reasons:

    Funds will be returned in the form of a voucher which can be seen in the My Vouchers menu and the voucher cannot be cashed within 1-2 working days

4. Virtual Accounts

- Order canceled due to system error:

    Funds will be returned in the form of vouchers which can be seen in the My Vouchers menu and can be used for the next transaction or disbursed directly to the account

- Orders canceled due to personal reasons:

    Funds will be returned in the form of a voucher which can be seen in the My Vouchers menu and the voucher cannot be cashed within 1-2 working days

Refund by credit card payment method

The following is the refund process using the credit card payment method.

- Order canceled due to system error:

    Funds will be returned within the credit card limit within a maximum of 7-14 working days

- Orders canceled due to personal reasons:

    Funds will be returned in the form of a voucher which can be seen in the My Vouchers menu and the voucher cannot be cashed

Refund using paylater payment method

The following is the refund process using the Paylater payment method.

1. Kredivo

- Order canceled due to system error:

    Funds will be returned directly to the Kredivo limit within 3-7 working days

- Orders canceled due to personal reasons:

    Funds will be returned in the form of a voucher which can be seen in the My Vouchers menu and the voucher cannot be cashed within 1-2 working days

2. GoPayLater

- Order canceled due to system error:

    Funds will be returned directly to the GoPayLater limit within 3-7 working days

- Orders canceled due to personal reasons:

    Funds will be returned in the form of a voucher which can be seen in the My Vouchers menu and the voucher cannot be cashed within 1-2 working days

3. Danakini

- Order canceled due to system error:

    Funds will be returned directly to the Danakini limit within 3-7 working days

- Orders canceled due to personal reasons:

    Funds will be returned in the form of a voucher which can be seen in the My Vouchers menu and the voucher cannot be cashed within 1-2 working days

Refunds will be made when the order cancellation/return process has been received and verified by Rurupa

The following is an estimate of the time required for the refund process

    1 Bank Transfer: returned in the form of a voucher that can be cashed (estimated 1-2 working days)

If a refund is made for personal reasons, the funds will be returned in the form of a non-cashable voucher.

Refund Terms & Conditions

Refunds will be made when the order cancellation/return process has been received and verified by Rurupa.

If a refund is made due to an error, the funds will be returned according to the payment method used by the User when making the purchase:

    1 Bank Transfer: returned in the form of a voucher that can be cashed (estimated 1-2 working days)

    2 Credit Card: credit card limit refund (estimated 7-14 working days)

    3 Online Debit: returned in the form of a voucher that can be cashed (estimated 1-2 working days)

    4 OVO: returned in the form of a voucher that can be cashed (estimated 1-2 working days)

    5 GoPay: GoPay balance refund (estimated 3-7 working days)

    6 Cardless Installments: return of balance limit to each platform (estimated 3-7 working days)

Users can liquidate vouchers (transfer funds to the User's account) through the Liquidate Funds button found in the "My Voucher" menu, with the following stipulations:

    1 Vouchers include vouchers that can be cashed

    2 Voucher is still active (not used and has not passed the expiry date).

    3 Estimated funds entering BCA account: 1-2 working days.

    4 Estimated funds entering accounts other than BCA: 2-5 working days.

If a refund is made for personal reasons, the funds will be returned in the form of a non-cashable voucher.

In connection with paragraph 20.2, Users can also choose a refund method in the form of shopping vouchers (estimated 1-2 working days).

Reimbursement of shipping costs

Rurupa will reimburse the shipping costs paid by the User at the time of Purchase for any cancellation or return of an Order that occurs, except:

    1 Order Cancellation submitted by the User.

    2 Users submit orders for personal reasons/change of mind.

    3 Disbursement of refund vouchers with a nominal value of IDR 2,000,000 or more made after 16.00 WIB will be processed on the next working day.

Reimbursement of shipping costs for each cancellation or return of an Order is proportional based on the number of Products in the relevant Order.

Charging or Reimbursing Shipping Fees for Returned Orders

Rurupa has the right to charge a shipping fee to pick up an Order returned by a User if the Order is returned for personal reasons/change of mind.

If the return order is sent by the User himself, Rurupa will reimburse the return shipping costs if:

    1 The reason for returning an Order submitted by the User is not a personal reason/change of mind.

    2 Users can show/attach proof of delivery receipt.

Shipping costs paid by Users will be reimbursed in accordance with the regular rates of logistics services that collaborate with Rurupa.

    The apps work fine, however, their customer service is really bad. They are rude on the phone and WhatsApp. Moreover, they are very slow to respond unless you keep reminding them. They also tend to blame their team for mistakes. If they don't make things better soon, I doubt they'll survive in online business.
