Samsung Calendar - Schedule & organize events

Things are going downhill quickly. I'm about to switch to Google. If you want to behave like a big brother, then people will just use Big Brother. I wish there was an app that would let me easily add what I need without always trying to do the thinking for me, and getting it wrong every time! I'd prefer to just input my events instead of correcting incorrect information before adding anything new. The app also has issues with selecting the correct times versus showing the actual time I choose. Quit trying to second-guess me all the time!

I really liked this app and I use it frequently. However, they recently got rid of the option for me to set a reminder a few hours or minutes before my planned event. Now, there is only an option for a reminder on the day of the event and I have to choose a specific time, which is quite inconvenient for me. I hope this is just a bug that will be resolved soon. If they fix this issue, I would definitely give them a five-star rating.

I don't think this calendar app is very useful because it doesn't work with caldav, which is a standard for online calendars. I'm not sure about its compatibility with Google and Exchange accounts since I don't use them. The widgets and simple design are cool, but not being able to sync with Internet calendars is a major problem for me. That's why I would only give it 1 star.

So, after three years of just chilling, the app suddenly decided to start bombarding me with push notifications on weekends, which honestly just duplicates what Google calendar already does, but in a more irritating way. At this point, I think the simplest solution is just to disable the app altogether.

Just a heads up for everyone: if you're experiencing calendar sync problems, it's most likely not the app's fault. The issue might be your phone revoking permissions for the app! You can try creating a calendar event from your mail app connected to the calendars. This action will trigger your phone to allow the necessary permissions for calendar syncing to function properly once again. I hope you find this tip useful - it saved me from having to switch to another app.

I like to use my calendar to stay organized and see my work schedule quickly. But whenever I try to input specific times for events, it automatically adjusts the starting time when I am entering the ending time. It's quite annoying, especially when I'm in a rush and forget to double-check everything.

I've been using this calendar for so long now! It's almost got everything I need in a digital android calendar. I really like that I can write my entries with my stylus - it's a big plus for me. The only downside is that the handwriting feature is only available on the monthly view, which I wish was extended to all views, especially the daily view. Once they update that, I'll definitely give it a 5-star rating!
