Samsung Internet Browser Beta - Browse faster & safer

Samsung Internet Beta can be installed alongside the stable version of Samsung Internet. It offers a top-notch web browsing experience by providing features like Video Assistant, Dark Mode, Customizable menu, Extensions such as Translator, and ensuring privacy with functions like Secret mode, Smart Anti-Tracking, and Smart Protection.

* Secret Mode Screenshot Support

Users can take screenshots in Secret Mode once they enable the "Allow screenshots in Secret Mode" option in Secret Mode settings (※ Internet settings > Personal browsing data > Secret Mode settings).

Samsung Internet prioritizes your security and privacy while surfing the web.

* Smart Anti-Tracking:

This feature intelligently detects domains that engage in cross-site tracking and blocks storage access.

* Protected Browsing:

A warning will be issued before accessing known malicious websites to safeguard your data from potential theft attempts.

* Content Blockers:

By allowing 3rd party apps to offer content blocking filters, Samsung Internet enhances browsing safety and efficiency.

For user convenience, A/B testing might be performed on Samsung Internet v21.0 or later.

Data collected through A/B testing focuses on the usage rate of features and does not involve personal user information.

Navigation Guide

The navigation bar in Samsung Internet Browser Beta is similar to what you’d see on a desktop browser. You can search for new websites, share them, and save them to your bookmark list.

1. Navigate to and open the Samsung Internet Browser Beta app. If desired, you can help improve the app by reporting errors. Then, tap Agree. 

2. You can set Samsung Internet Browser Beta as your default browser by tapping Continue. Otherwise, tap Not now.

3. The following functions are available in Samsung Internet Browser Beta:

- Bookmark icon: Used to bookmark the current page. This is located in the top left corner.

- Reload icon: Used to reload the current page.

- Back arrow: Used to navigate back one page.

- Home icon: Used to return to your Homepage. Please see the " customize="" the="" homepage"="" section="" for="" more="" information.<="" p="">

- Address bar: Used to search for a new web address.

- Forward arrow: Used to navigate forward one page.

- Bookmark list: Used to see your bookmarks. This is located on the bottom of the screen.

- Menu: Opens additional options and settings.

- Tabs icon: Used to open your current tabs.

You can also add the Samsung Internet Search widget to your device’s Home screen. The widget allows you to check your recent browsing history as well. For more information about adding widgets, check out our Home screen guide.

Files and media: (Android 12) Permits uploading of files from storage spaces on webpages

Storage: (Android 11 or lower) Enables file uploads from storage spaces on webpages

Notifications: (Android 13 or higher) Displays download progress and website notifications
