Session - Fitness tracker & planner

I'm having trouble sending messages. The app has been not working for days now, making it completely useless at the moment.

Session stands out as an excellent messaging app among others. It's a tough choice when deciding between Session and Signal because both are fantastic open source apps that prioritize end-to-end encryption.

Oh, I found this app really good, but it could have more features. I would love it if messages disappeared after some time. It should also stop people from taking screenshots and recording the screen when they see your messages. This way, you can feel safer about sharing stuff. But that's not why I only gave it three stars. When I updated it last time, the app wouldn't even open. Edit: Wow, the app now opens smoothly. That was a quick solution! I'll give it 5 stars for its great features and fast bug fixes.

So, I recently came across Session and thought I'd check it out. At first glance, the idea seems cool but there are quite a few bugs. Whenever I open the app, it takes forever to load, and then a system message pops up saying the app isn't responding and gives me the option to either wait or close it. Another problem is when I attempt to add contacts, I always get an error message. I'm pretty sure I'm not entering their number wrong because I copy and paste it. By the way, I'm using a Motorola G Pure with Android 11.

I was searching for an app similar to Signal where I can stay anonymous. I found Session and it seemed great, except for one major issue - the notifications. They only work when the app is open on your screen. Even with the Google delivery option turned on, it still doesn't send notifications properly. In comparison, Signal's notifications work perfectly fine. It's a shame because Session has a lot of good features, but without reliable notifications, it's not very useful to me. If they can fix this problem, I'll give it another try!
