Enemy Codex

Imperial Guard 

The Imperial Guard is the highest liutenant of the shadow clan and he's tough as nails. His heavy armor and shield is virtually impenetrable making long ranged projectiles useless against him when attacking him from afar. To defeat the Imperial Guard, get in close and lure him in for an attack, evade his giant sword swing and then proceed to attack him when his sword is stuck in the ground - this is the only time the Imperial Guard is vulnerable and can be attacked with melee or ranged weapons. There is a high chance of being awarded the knife weapon upon defeating an Imperial Guard.

Sai Warrior 

The Sai Warrior is a fast and ferocious female warrior. Armed with two lethal sai blades, the sai warrior dashes towards her enemies with speed and accurracy. The best approach to defeat the sai warrior is to evade her by leaping over her while shes dashing towards you and strike her from behind.

Kisouma Warrior 

The Kisouma Warrior is a powerful mounted warrior who lunges towards their opponents with their heavily armored horses combined with a deadly sword attack. The best approach to defeat the Kisouma Warrior is to evade him by leaping over him while he's dashing towards you and strike him from behind. Be careful though, the horse is unpredictable and may turn around quickly on certain occassions for a follow up attack.

Kyudo Warrior 

The Kyudo Warrior is the weakest member of the shadow clan who shoots unlimited arrows at his opponents. To defeat the Kyudo Warrior simply evade his arrows and get in close for the kill - or shoot him from afar with your ranged weapons.

Ryujin Dragon 

The Ryujin Dragon is a member of the wild dragons clan who have been taken under control by the dark shadow of the east. These dragons swoop in and attack their opponents with ranged fireballs. They can only be attacked in the head as their body armor is too thick to be penetrated by melee or ranged weapons. To defeat a Ryujin Dragon simply evade his fireballs and strike it in the head. Defeating a Ryujin Dragon will award you with the fireball weapon.

Hokkaido Wolf 

The Hokkaido Wolf is a tamed beast that attacks with speed and voracity. Taken under control by the shadow clan, these beasts have been trained to lunge towards their opponents with a ferocious bite. To defeat a Hokkaido Wolf simply jump over it as it lunges towards you and strike it from behind.

Honshu Wolf 

The Honshu Wolf is a wild beast and attacks multiple times with extreme voracity. These stubborn beasts resisted being taken under control by the Shadow clan and in return were treated with extreme hostility. The best way to defeat a Honshu Wolf is to crouch underneath it during it's three consecutive jump attacks and then strike it in the tail during it's rest period.

Koumori Bat 

The Koumori Bat can usually be spotted sleeping peacefully in their environment but if you get to close to one you risk waking it up from its deep slumber...and that really pisses them off. Slightly slower then the mountain hawks, the Koumori bat attacks by lunging towards their opponents and attacking with their sharp claws. To defeat a Koumori bat, lure it in for an attack and then counterattack during its brief rest period.

Mountain Hawk 

Native to act 1 and 2, the Mountain Hawk is a defensive creature always looking for prey intruding upon their lands. Slightly faster then the Koumori bat, the Mountain Hawk attacks by lunging towards their opponents and attacking with their sharp claws. To defeat a Mountain Hawk, lure it in for an attack and then counterattack during its brief rest period.

Yeti 

The Yeti can be found wandering around the mountains and caves of Act 2. This ferocious beast was once captured by the Shadow clan and enslaved with gold chains but proving to be untameable the shadow clan cut its chains and set it free. Be cautious when approaching a Yeti - it doesn't like to be bothered and if you get too close you'll be treated to a ferocious serving of a headbutt followed by a ground stomp. If you don't have any ranged weapons its best to lure it in for an attack and then evade both of its attacks before counterattacking with your sword. If you have the dash ability you can also dash through the Yeti and attack it from behind. Given the size of the Yeti jumping over it can be a bit difficult but could be a good way to also attack it from behind...the choice is yours.

Death Knight 

The Death Knight was once a high liutenant of the dark lord but ultimately fell in battle at the hands of Xiaolang. The dark lord resurrected these fallen warriors and turned them into the undead with the ability to control the elemental power of dark fire. Death Knights are native to act 3 and can be difficult to fight given their attack and repel behaviour so its best to use ranged weapons against them. Tip: When you hear a ghostly scream...there's a death knight near by.

Dark Apparition 

Following the first invasion by the dark lord many peasants across the orient were captured and turned into headless apparitions. These apparitions are loyal only to the dark lord and will attack anyone who poses a threat by launching a homing missle of dark fire. When fighting a dark apparition avoid its homing missle at all costs and attack it while the homing missle is active. Dark apparitions can be found lurking around the enviornment in act 3.

Giant Joro Spider 

The Giant Joro spider can be found in Acts 1 and 3 and can be found hanging from ceilings spitting out venomous projeticles in all directions. When fighting a joro spider try avoiding its projectiles and attack it while its moving or temporarily stationary after it attacks.

Pit Viper 

The Pit Viper is a lethal enemy spitting out venomous projectiles at vast distances. The Pit Viper is native to Acts 1 and 3 and they blend in well within their environments so be on your guard at all times.
