ShareTheMeal - Sponsor meals globally

I found out about this app from a YouTube ad. I've never been so thankful for an ad before. It's a great idea, where you can give money directly to help those in need. The app is really easy to use and they only ask for $0.80 to feed a child for a day. That's much less than what most of us with smartphones can easily afford. Thank you, UN, for creating this app. Keep up the good work!

This platform is so simple and helpful. It just gives off such a positive vibe. There's just one thing that I noticed about the experience. You get to pick from various projects that you can help out with. While I really appreciate being able to see where my money is going, it's tough for me to choose between them. I really want to donate, but I don't want to have to make a decision like that. They all seem deserving in their own ways. I think it would be great if there was an easy "donate now" button that lets you contribute with just one click. That way, users wouldn't have to stress about picking one project over another. :)

They were successful in convincing her to make donations easily. I encountered a major obstacle when trying to get technical assistance, despite numerous attempts. My issue centered around mistakenly opening a separate PayPal account, leading to their app consistently reverting to the unwanted account. Despite my efforts to delete the old account, the app stubbornly defaulted to it each time. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling the app, the problem persisted. Multiple attempts to seek help from tech support proved fruitless.

This app is just the worst. I pay for it every month and I have generously given to WFP many times. But every time I open the app, there's nothing there. I reached out for help, but their response was totally useless. For some unknown reason, the app can't seem to find all the times I've donated. Good thing I use PayPal, so at least I have proof of my donations. I've deleted this app once more after confirming that it still doesn't do anything.

I gotta tell you about this awesome idea for making social change and showing support right from your phone. You get to decide how much you wanna give, based on what you can afford and how often you wanna donate. Each cause on there has a little blurb about it and a progress bar so you can track how much help they still need. And the app is great because it doesn't bug you to share every donation or ask you to tell everyone about it. Plus, no ads and the design is super clean and nice.

Ugh, I really dislike the new version. It's so hard to move around in it compared to the previous one. If they want to make it about getting rewards with teams (or now challenges and sharing on social media), they need a much better user interface. This version just makes me not want to donate because it's annoying to use. The challenges are especially terrible. I have to either make my own or pick from whatever is there. I can't even search for one.

I really like having this app on my phone. The reminders are not too much, which is great. It helps me give easily and have an impact. I appreciate being able to donate when I can and remember that others need food as well! 💗

Donating to help people in need of food makes me so happy. But, I wish there were more currency options available on the app. I usually use SGD to pay, but it's not there, so I have to convert the amount myself, which can be a bit annoying. Even though this app is amazing, I want to make sure my money is actually helping and not being misused. I've already sent an email to the team, but sadly, I haven't gotten a response yet. Thank you for including more currency options though! It's really appreciated! 😊
