HOW TO PLAY SKAT

In the trick-taking game of Skat, a round consists of two phases: bidding and trick-taking. The bidding phase establishes the declarer, who then picks up the two leftover cards – known as the skat – and sets the conditions for trick-taking. This is followed by the trick-taking phase, where the objective is to win valuable cards. After all cards have been played, scoring takes place: If the declarer wins, they earn points based on the game value. However, if the game is lost, double the game value is deducted.

NOTE:

This app can be downloaded at no cost. Playing is permanently free of charge. Additional game enhancements like game chips, premium membership, and special playing cards can be purchased within the game but are optional.

The game requires an active internet connection.

    The service was really bad. You can't even play through the game because any player can ban anyone at any time. For instance, if you have a bad internet connection or need to quit the game, another player can ban you for 4 days. But someone could also ban you for no reason at all. I rate it zero stars.

    Such a great app! The slot machine is adorable. It would be even better if it had a swipe function to make the random number generator more unpredictable. The skat part of the app is awesome - no ads, an excellent tutorial, fast matchmaking to find players quickly. Thanks a lot!

    I found this skat app to be the best among many I tried. It's the easiest to use. It got even better with the recent update. Now, you can level up and choose enhanced graphics. However, around April 2023, changes were made to the app. Now, after each round, annoying loud ads pop up. Sometimes, the only way to get rid of them is by completely closing the app and starting over. This issue forced me to drop my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars.

    This app is awesome! No issues or bothersome ads. However, here's the thing - the rating system is a bit messed up. For example, in a game where a player isn't doing much and the other side decides to quit before even starting, my rating goes down more than theirs. This situation occurs frequently. It's still a fun game but the rating system can be frustrating. Oh, also, if I miss just one game out of over a thousand, my participation rating drops from 100% to 95%.

    I first discovered Skat when playing Hoyle Card games. I was thrilled to come across an app that let me compete against players from Austria, Germany, and other countries. It's difficult to get the hang of, but it's a fantastic game!

    Skatpalast is really awesome! Playing games here is so much fun! I even decided to upgrade to a full membership, although I think it could be a bit cheaper! The developer is very helpful when there are issues. That's exactly how it should be! 18, 20, 2...FANTASTIC!
