Smashing Four Tips, Cheats & Strategies to Smash Your Enemies to Pieces

1. Assemble A Balanced Squad

The most important decision you will make in Smashing Four is who to include in your squad. There are currently only a handful of heroes available, but that does not mean the decision will be any easier. When you start out, you are given a default lineup, and it is more or less balanced. However, it will be composed of Common heroes. You will want to have heroes with higher rarity on your team. The higher the rarity, the better the stats will be. On top of that, heroes who have high rarity get their special skills sooner, if not instantly.

A lot of new players get stumped when they receive their first new hero and want to add him to their current team. The game’s tutorial is very basic, and it mostly just covers battle. When you get a new hero, you just tap on the cards icon at the bottom of the main screen. This will take you to the list of cards. Tap on the card of the hero you want to add to your team and look for the Use button. It will then allow you to drag the hero towards any member of your current team to make them switch places.

2. Focus On One Target

In order to attack in Smashing Four, you need to tap on the screen, drag in order to aim and determine power, then release to send your hero flying across the arena. When in a match, make sure you just don’t randomly hit whichever hero is closest to you. Have your heroes focus on just one target as much as possible. Prioritize taking down heroes with high damage like the Assassin. These heroes are usually squishy, so it should be easy to take them out in a couple of hits. If you are lucky, you can kill them before they get a chance to attack. Attacking tanks first would take forever, giving other heroes plenty of time to hit you back.

The primary reason you should focus on a single target is to cut down the number of opponents as quickly as you can. Keep in mind that aside from the attacking hero, your character will take additional damage from any other member of the enemy team he bumps into during the enemy turn. You want to reduce the chances of that as much as you can. The lower the chances of attacks from the enemies, the better your chances will be at surviving with the entire team intact.

3. Test Drive New Heroes

As you play the game, you will eventually get new hero cards. While you might be excited to jump into battle with your shiny new hero, you should practice with him first. Heroes have different sizes, speeds, and weights. That means they behave differently when you use them in battle. For example, the Giant is a huge hero that can easily hit multiple heroes that are close together, but he is also incredibly heavy and slow. If you are targeting heroes that are on the opposite end of the arena, the Giant won’t be able to bounce around as much as other heroes would, reducing the chances of dealing extra damage.

Practicing with new heroes will allow you to get a good feel for how they move around the arena. This will help you adjust your strategies accordingly. To start a practice match with in-game bots, just tap on the cards icon at the bottom of the screen. At the top left of your deck is a Practice button. Tap on it to start a bot match. You can quit a bot match any time without consequences, so if you are confident with your new hero, you don’t need to finish the match.

Note: A stable internet connection is necessary.

Although Smashing Four is free to play and does not require any spending to enjoy fully, you have the option to purchase game currency or special offers using real money through in-app purchases. Currency can be used to buy products such as Coins, Hero cards, or Orbs that may aid in faster progression. However, purchasing items does not guarantee victories in battles. We do not endorse 'pay-to-win' mechanics.

Enjoy this casual PVP game that I've been playing for over a year now. It's not pay to win and requires skill despite occasional team-ups with players of different character levels.

Love this game! It deserves 5 stars. It would be great to have a strategist tab for building and naming teams. Adding unlockable named teams would be cool too. I hope this idea gets considered. Thank you, I truly enjoy this game, one of my best playstore purchases ever.

Matchmaking needs to be improved because it's currently unfair. My level 3s are constantly matched against level 6s, 7s, and 8s. Despite having damage reduction, my team ends up almost wiped out in the first turn while the opposing team still has full health. I've never had the opportunity to move first since the tutorial, even though it's pointless when facing opponents who are much higher levels. I only manage to win in events that balance out the levels, but regular matches are filled with players who are way above my level. The game needs to be fixed.

It's a nice game. Enjoyable and convenient, you can just play for short periods without losing your progress. It's free, but you can pay to upgrade your cards if you want. Some play for free, while some opt for the VIP at a small cost. I like playing it. Having clans and a private message feature would be useful. Thanks.

The game is good. However, the matchmaking is not fair. I keep facing opponents whose characters are three levels higher than mine. Also, after reinstalling the game, I was glad to find my old account still intact. But it's frustrating to see new characters from updates I missed defeating me in the arena. I've tried everything to start fresh, but I can't. Why?

I like the concept of the game. I enjoyed playing it at first and bought some small items to show my support. I usually do that with games I enjoy. However, I noticed that in order to progress further, you have to spend a lot of money. It was great to play for free for a couple of months casually. But after that, you have to start paying. The free items they offer are usually things that you don't need or want. Whenever I change my lineup, I only seem to receive other unwanted items. They say many things are random, but they're not.

This game is really great. You don't have to buy anything or deal with annoying ads. The support team is quick to help with any problems, and they even give you coins and gems sometimes to cheer you up. I think it's a good concept. However, I believe the opponent matching system could be better.

Blah, just pay! The new update is so bad. They've totally forgotten what makes a good mobile game and how to do microtransactions right. Now you have to pay for everything to make any progress. And even when you do, the experience is still ruined. The matchmaking system for high-level players is a disaster. Another awesome game ruined by sheer greed.

It's really fun even though it looks simple. Turns out, it's not that simple with heroes having various abilities, speeds, and stats that need to work together. I just started playing, so it might become even more complex. Matches are short so even if you do badly early on, you won't wait long. One thing: hero abilities aren't very complex, but this could change soon.
