Strategies and Tips in Snake.io

1. Go with the Pack!

This is  a strategy where a player goes to an area of the arena where a lot of other snakes roam around. The main purpose of staying with the pack is for a player to beat snakes and eat them. Eating pellets from dead snakes makes you grow faster instead of eating normal pellets!

2. Coiling

This is a strategy of encircling your opponent. This is very effective especially if the snake is already long as the player becomes more capable of coiling multiple snakes. Once you coil other snakes, the only thing left to do is to make sure that the space becomes too narrow for the opponents causing limited movement and eventually die.

3. Sideway Baiting

This is a strategy used by players if their snakes are long enough to cover both sides of the arena. They would usually allot space for opponents to enter the edges of the arena. Once the player sees that there are opponents who entered their sideway bait space, they will close the area and make sure there’s no room for the opponents to escape them.
