Welcome to the Space Playground!

Solar System Scope, or simply Solar, provides various views and cosmic simulations that bring you closer to the farthest corners of our universe, offering breathtaking space landscapes.

It aims to be the most illustrative, user-friendly, and straightforward space model.

3D Information Hub

Within Solar's unique information hub, you will discover intriguing facts about each planet, dwarf planet, major moon, and more – all presented with lifelike 3D visualizations.

Solar’s information hub is accessible in 19 languages including English, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, and more, with additional languages on the way.

Night Sky Observatory

Explore stars and constellations from your location on Earth as seen in the night sky. By pointing your device upwards, you can view celestial objects accurately positioned, or even simulate the night sky from past or future dates.

Now equipped with advanced features allowing you to simulate ecliptic, equatorial, azimuthal lines, or grids, among other options.

Scientific Tool

Utilizing NASA’s latest orbital data, Solar System Scope enables you to simulate celestial positions accurately at any given time.

For All Audiences

Suitable for enthusiasts, educators, scientists, and even children as young as 4 years old, Solar System Scope caters to a diverse audience of all ages.

Unique Cartography

An exceptional collection of planetary and lunar maps based on NASA imagery and elevation data presents space in true color like never seen before.

Color tones and textures are adjusted according to authentic photos captured by spacecraft such as Messenger, Viking, Cassini, New Horizon, and the Hubble Telescope.

While basic map resolution is complimentary, enhanced quality is available via In-App purchase for a premium experience.

This app is really cool. I've been using it for years. The only thing that bothers me is the location feature. It doesn't work well on my phone since it lacks a compass. It would be great if the app could be updated to use GPS instead, to accurately show the live positions of stars and planets even without a compass.

It's really awesome. The amount of work put into creating this phone app is just mind-blowing. I really hope they keep adding more to it. The feature I like the most is being able to set any date and time from anywhere in the world to track the positions of celestial objects that follow an orbit. One idea I have is to include Hebrew names for stars/constellations as a toggle option, similar to the Latin names feature.

This app is a great example for other apps to follow in terms of respecting users with similar interests without being too pushy. They have some ads, but they don't bombard you with emails or notifications. And then there's this website that's just unbelievable! It only costs $2.50 for valuable information, and you might even get banned for reporting cheating and lose money on a risky bet. Thanks again to the Scope team from me and my 8-year-old!

This app is really special. I don't have any complaints, but I do have a couple of suggestions. The centering and scale functions are fantastic. It would be cool to add a feature where you could switch between objects like using a PS controller for free flights in space. Another idea is to display curved space around objects with general relativity, alternating it with the usual space grid. It'd be great to see black holes and neutron stars with optional animations. And lastly, I've been trying to find the star cluster at the center of the galaxy.

I used to never buy apps before, but this time I caved in. I just had to support the developers for creating such an incredible app. It literally blew my mind with the amount of information and how easy it is to use. I stayed up until 3 am exploring stars in VR, from the Earth's crust to the edge of the universe. This app is like a treasure trove of knowledge that could spark wars. It's like a dream come true for astronomers.

It's so good that I can't believe it's free. I felt bad about using the free version, so I upgraded to the pro version for just $2.50. Maybe they could add an Exit or Quit button because it's hard to exit the app on my Galaxy S10. Other than that, it's flawless.

This is an amazing app. It's so impressive. Before, I didn't notice stars at night, but now with this app, I can find planets in the sky. It's really cool! I give it 5 stars. Adding a map of the entire Earth would be great to see all cities.

Bought it right away because I loved it. Noticed that the meteors move correctly towards the sun but seem to go backwards after they slingshot, chasing their own tails. This could use some improvement. Definitely suggest getting it for 5 bucks to support the project. It's totally worth it.

This app is really cool and helpful! I think the extra features and no ads for $2.50 are totally worth it. I'm excited to see how it grows! Adding planet surfaces with all that data would be awesome. Also, improving the view sky function by using the viewfinder to show real-time positions of components would be great. It'd be fun to have social features too, so you can connect with friends!

You're amazing developers! I need that full universe model with all the quantum particles included. I can't spot the cosmic background radiation. Why not return to Planck time? Seriously though, you've done a fantastic job. I'd pay way more for your work!
