Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Classic - Retro platform jumping

Really good job on the game! I still remember when it was released and how excited I was when I finally won. It's just like the feeling you got from playing Sonic and Sega games in the past. The best part is that I can use my Xbox controller and all the buttons work correctly, which is rare. Overall, great work! I'll write a more detailed review after spending more time playing it.

I've had this app for a long time and enjoy playing it over and over again. I'm happy they fixed the bug that made the game run slowly on devices with high refresh rate screens. It would be great if we could customize the control placement on the screen, but overall, this app is a must-have on my device.

The game is definitely the top version of Sonic 2. However, it has some issues like crashing during the Oil Ocean Act 2 Boss fight and debug unexpectedly pausing for ads. Buying the ad-free version doesn't seem to solve all problems based on others' feedback. It's annoying that the 2 Player Mode is exclusive to IOS users, leaving Android users out. Despite these flaws, the game is still pretty decent.

Playing the updated Sonic 2 was really enjoyable! It was nostalgic yet also had a fresh feel. The time attack boss rush and playing as Tails were great additions. Whether or not you've played the original, I recommend giving it a try.

Seeing this classic game available on mobile is really cool. It used to be challenging when we had physical D-pads, but now with virtual controls, it's even more difficult. I struggled to defeat the Level 2 boss, trying to jump, hit and avoid falling into the water. If you thought you were good at this game before, get ready for a challenge with the mobile version. Beating the final boss seems almost impossible with these controls. Nonetheless, it's still an awesome game.

The game is good with an awesome secret level, but the controls are not very responsive. Sometimes when I try to move in a direction or jump, the character doesn't respond. It would be better if it took three button taps for Knuckles to become Super Knuckles. This way, you could still glide even when you have all the emeralds and over 50 rings without transforming into Super Knuckles. Overall, it's an okay port of the game, but the control issues hold it back.

This port is amazing! I experienced an issue after reinstalling the app, where Sonic 1 had a bug. Sonic CD is working fine though. The bug occurs after the screen fades to black following the Christian Whitehead screen – then it just stays black. I've tried restarting my device, but no luck. Please fix this, as I'm really eager to play the game.

You did an awesome job getting Sonic 2 to work on mobile. It's great, but can't be played offline. I saw you improved the ring sprites, trampoline jump sprites, and special stage platform animations. The performance is top-notch too!

The classic game was ported amazingly. It would be great if there could be a single player offline mode. I understand that many have asked for it, but please consider doing a port of Sonic 3 & Knuckles. This game is already fantastic, and a port would benefit your community and stop the requests. Just a suggestion. Great game, 10/10.
