Are you looking to measure sound levels? This innovative sound level meter application for Android is the perfect solution!

Our decibel meter utilizes your device's built-in microphone to assess sound intensity in decibels (dB) and presents the data on a user-friendly graph.

Key Features

Real-Time Noise Readings

The app gives you live updates on how loud things are around you. Want to know if your neighbor’s party is breaking sound rules? Or if your workplace is too noisy? You’ll get clear, instant dB numbers to tell you what’s up.

Cool Graph to Track Noise

Beyond numbers, it shows a graph of sound levels over time. This makes it easy to spot trends—like when the noise spikes during rush hour or dips when everyone’s asleep. It’s like a visual story of your sound world.

Super Easy to Use

No tech skills needed! The app’s design is straightforward, so anyone can jump in and start measuring noise without a headache.

Who Should Download It?

Folks who want to keep their space chill and quiet.

Pros dealing with sound, like DJs or builders.

Anyone curious about noise pollution’s impact.

IMPORTANT: The microphones in most devices are optimized for capturing human speech, which may limit their capability to recognize extremely high sound levels. Sounds reaching approximately 90 dB or higher might not be accurately detected. Additionally, automatic gain control present in certain devices could affect the performance of this noise measurement tool.

Why It’s Useful

Everyday Life: Check if your home is peaceful or if traffic noise is creeping in.

Work & Play: Musicians, event planners, or construction workers can tweak sound levels on the fly to keep things neighbor-friendly or meet local rules.

Health Awareness: Noise pollution is real—think busy cities like New York or LA. This app helps you see if your ears need a break.

School Fun: Teachers and students can use it for cool sound experiments in class.

Carrying a meter can feel cumbersome. A better choice emerged, but the reset button vanished after too many resets. Now, it struggles with readings. Questions about time limits in the free version popped up. On October 21, 2020, things turned around. The number of readings improved, and a rating adjustment felt right.

Full screen ads flood the app. You're measuring sound levels, and suddenly a loud ad blasts out without warning. No way to stop it, just noise. Other apps offer a much smoother experience.

This app is user-friendly. It stays true to its purpose without complicating things. The ad bar remains unobtrusive, not an issue at all. Some users expect apps to be completely free, which is a bit unreasonable. Creators deserve compensation for their efforts. As for accuracy, it might not reach lab standards. Achieving that level of precision usually comes with higher costs. Overall, great work from the developers!

The app works perfectly. It's super user-friendly, and you won't be bombarded with annoying ads. The accuracy of the measurements depends on the quality of your phone's microphone. It measures up to 89 decibels, which is great since that’s the safe limit to protect your eardrums from damage.

It delivers exactly what it promises. The interface feels smooth and easy to navigate. Not sure about the absolute accuracy of the dB readings, but that's okay. It still helps me gauge the differences in loudness between various environments.

Every time I use the app, it bugs me for a rating, and that pushes me to give it 3 stars. It does help track those late-night jam sessions, which is great. The constant nudging for a 5-star review feels forced. It makes every rating feel fake. Just keep that in mind. Those glowing 5-star reviews could be from others feeling the same pressure. Each time I open the app, I get the same choices: give 5 stars or cancel. If I cancel, it just pops up again next time. It feels like a sneaky way to get higher ratings.

I wanted a simple dB meter and searched for that on Google Play Store. This app popped up second in the listings with an impressive 4.8 rating. I read through several reviews, and they all praised it, calling it awesome and fantastic. I decided to try it out, and I totally agree! It’s simple, well-designed, and works perfectly! 🙂

It really works! The readings match a professional sound meter. Plus, it looks great. It has some limitations on the low and high ends, but it's still handy for a quick check.

It used to be really good, but now it's not worth it. As soon as you launch it, three ads pop up. One sits at the bottom, another covers half the screen, and then a full-screen ad takes over. Closing these ads can be tricky. Sometimes, they redirect you out of the app even after closing. When you come back, boom! Another full-screen ad appears. Plus, it doesn't track sound while the full-screen ad plays. It's frustrating.

After an hour on the train from Doncaster to London, the noise became too much for me. It felt intrusive and disrupted my peace. I found an app to measure the noise levels. It proved to be really helpful. I appreciate its use. The trains definitely need better sound insulation!
