So, like, after this update I got a few weeks back, my phone keeps on using the microphone all the time, like every few minutes. It's super annoying. I'm actually thinking about just getting rid of it. My phone kinda watches out for apps that are doing things they shouldn't, and it's always telling me about SoundHound now. Why is it listening in when I haven't even opened the app!? I only want it to listen when I actually open it and hit the button. Can you please fix this? No other app does stuff like this. I really like SoundHound otherwise and I wish I could still use it.

So, I was just messing around, playing some random anime tunes and live versions of famous songs on both Soundhound and Shazam to see which one was better at recognizing them. And guess what? Soundhound totally aced it! It didn't miss a single song, while Shazam struggled a bit with some tracks. Overall, I'd say Soundhound nailed it as the top music recognition app, with Shazam coming in a close second.

I've been using Soundhound for a long time and it's become a regular part of my routine. It generally gets the job done, but there are some ongoing issues that never really go away. I appreciate how quickly it identifies music and its various features. However, it freezes or crashes more often than I'd prefer. The biggest problem, though, is how much it drains my battery. After listening to just 6-8 songs, my battery percentage dropped from 100% to 65%. That seems like a bit excessive to me.

Yeah, so my old favorite app used to be awesome for a long time, but now it's just not doing its job right. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it three times already, but it's still acting up. Like, 30% of the time it gives me the right answer, 30% of the time it plays the same song from before, and the remaining 40% of the time, nothing happens at all. It's so annoying! 🤬 Anyway, I've recently switched to using "Google Search a Song," which is really accurate, but it requires more steps to get a result.

SoundHound is an amazing music app that I've been using for a long time. It's like my virtual playlist, keeping me in tune with what's playing in real time. Recently though, I ran into some issues where my music history couldn't play anymore, especially when trying to link songs to YouTube. I tried everything to troubleshoot the problem, but nothing seemed to work. Despite this setback, I still used the app for its other features without any problems. Fortunately, the latest update seems to have finally fixed this issue after a long time of dealing with it. Hopefully, this fix will hold up!

This app is amazing! It quickly identifies songs, lets you create playlists, and allows you to use YouTube, link up with Spotify, or even buy songs on Amazon if you want. You can explore a wide range of music genres, and the interface is neat without any irritating ads. The feature where it swiftly recognizes songs and lets you play them right away with different choices for free is quite special, making it a solid contender that's definitely worth the investment.

Have you tried Sound Hound? It's a super cool app for when you're clueless about a song but dying to know it. Just let the app listen to the song, and unless it's a live performance, it'll quickly identify it and even play audio samples. That means you can double-check if it really got the right song. Honestly, in my experience, it's accurate like 9.8 times out of 10. I've only used it on Galaxy S6 and a Galaxy Note 8, but it has been spot on every time. Give it a go!
