Southwest Airlines - Book & manage flights

Oh, I totally get it! It's so convenient to use the Southwest app for booking flights. But man, that logging out thing is a real hassle, right? I mean, having to re-enter all your info every single time is kind of annoying. It would be awesome if they could add a feature to keep you logged in. That would save us a lot of time and effort, don't you think?

The most annoying thing about this app is that every time you leave it, it resets to the main screen. It's a real hassle and makes using the app feel frustrating and time-consuming, especially when you're trying to book flights. Imagine having your trip all planned out and just wanting to quickly double-check your schedule or messages before finalizing the purchase – well, tough luck! You'll end up having to go through the whole booking process from scratch again! Southwest, please address this issue soon.

Sounds like you're doing okay, but there are definitely some areas that could use some improvement. When I make a booking through a third-party website, I typically use this app to check in. However, even though I'm already logged into the app and my PreTSA number is saved, it doesn't automatically add it to my boarding pass, which can be a hassle. Another thing I've noticed is that every time I open the app, it takes me to a page filled with irrelevant information. It would be more convenient if it could directly show my boarding pass instead. Also, retrieving my boarding pass requires entering the confirmation code and name every time, which is a bit of a hassle. I think it would be great if the app could take some cues from the American Airlines app for a smoother experience.

I've been flying with Southwest for many years, and I really can't see myself switching to another airline. Everything from booking tickets to handling baggage, boarding the plane, and the actual flights has always gone so smoothly with them. One of my favorite things is that I can earn points and use them for flights by using my Southwest credit card for everyday purchases. Plus, there are bonus discounts that come with the card as well. I have been having trouble booking flights because the app keeps asking me to verify my phone number, but whenever I enter it, the app deletes it. I have been receiving texts from Southwest on the same number for over 2 years, so it's a bit confusing. As a result, I can only book flights on my computer. Another issue is that the app often shows incorrect gate information. Additionally, if a flight is delayed and then rescheduled, the app is slow or may not even update to reflect the changes.
