Space Takeover: Over City

Advertisements, advertisements, advertisements! There are so many ads, it's like watching a never-ending infomercial. It starts off with just a few ads, but the more you play, the more they bombard you until you end up spending more time watching ads than actually playing the game. And not only that, these ads are awful - misleading and difficult to close. You can pay to remove them, but I'm not willing to do that. Frankly, the game probably isn't worth it anyway. So, I've decided to free up some space on my phone and bid farewell to that ad-filled game.

The game had too many ads that you had to watch in order to progress to later levels. At higher levels, I had to watch between 5 to 10 ads just to move on. It seemed like the game was purposely made to force you to watch ads. Even after I paid to remove the ads, I still had to watch them to continue playing. I've had enough and decided to delete the game.

This game is awesome and super fun to play, it's a great way to pass the time. However, there are parts of the game that could use more explanation. I had to figure out most things on my own, which wasn't too difficult for me. But unfortunately, there isn't a help or FAQ section available. I really wish I knew more about what the voyage upgrade does, but I don't have a way to find out.

Really exciting game! Managed to reach level 621 before I thought of spending time with my family. Noticed that the levels started repeating and some were too challenging without watching ads.

The initial levels were enjoyable. However, later on, the game becomes challenging as you find yourself at a disadvantage or in a situation where you cannot progress. To beat these tough levels, you need to use numerous power-ups that freeze everyone except you, make you invincible, or significantly reduce your enemies' health bars. It can feel like cheating when you have to rely heavily on these power-ups to win. And how do you get these power-ups? By watching ads, of course! You may end up watching multiple ads just to complete a single level.

Forget that. Avoid spending time if you don't want to waste money. Here's a fresh review. Reached a certain level and now winning several pvp rounds or using money to level up, watching ads, or using different powers doesn't seem to make a difference. Will give it a few more tries before moving on to find a game that doesn't frustrate me to the point of wanting to smash my phone.

Playing the game was enjoyable at first, especially for the initial 100 levels. However, as I progressed, the levels became incredibly challenging to the point where the only way to overcome them was by using numerous power-ups. And how did I obtain these power-ups? By watching advertisements, of course. It reached a point where I had to sit through 10 or more ads just to beat one level. It stopped being fun at that point. If the levels had presented tougher but solvable puzzles, that would have been fine. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The only route to success seemed to be enduring a dozen ads. A complete waste of time.

There is a game that used to be really good. But lately, the updates have made it unstable, and there are more ads, which isn't fun. It's a struggle to play now, especially at level 14,000. When computer-controlled players send more ships, they become too strong. Some levels are impossible to beat without using boosts. It seems like the game has changed from being enjoyable to either having bad programming or focusing too much on transactions. Also, they should keep the planet cards in the War of Worlds section and not mix them into the main game.

Oh, I really love playing this game! It's so much fun and I just can't stop playing it. I would rate it 5 stars easily, but there's just one thing that bothers me a lot - those irritating ads that pop up constantly. When I want to watch an ad to get extra coins or gems, almost half the time the ad freezes and I have to restart the game. It's so frustrating! Especially because the blue gems are crucial in the game. I've even spent quite a bit of money on this game, and when I try to watch an ad to multiply my winnings by 5, it freezes and I end up losing my money. It's really disappointing.
