Splash Game Cheats: Tips & Tricks to Unlock all the Species in the Game

Get all fish that you can

At first, you shouldn’t worry too much about the types of fish that you will get. Just make sure to always have the maximum number floating around and feed them to maturity, in order to get more ingredients for the more difficult to get fish. Check them out at all times and start learning the requirements, but early on you can be as random as you like and you’ll still progress relatively fast.

Start working on the set mastery

Releasing a specific number of fish in each set gives you set mastery, which rewards you with goodies, especially premium tickets for the Hermit Crab. Learn what are the requirements for each type of fish and slowly work to have them all done. Don’t ignore the basic breed, though (the first that you have unlocked): you’ll need a lot of those to actually get the materials for the more complex and difficult to get fish. One good idea would be to focus on a set at a time.

Upgrade constantly

You can upgrade your Inventory to hold more items (extremely useful, especially later on when you will need a ton of materials) or the Green Food Pot which gives you food discounts for each upgrade level. Getting the materials to do this is extremely difficult as the drop rate is really rare, so if you want something to spend your Spashcash on, this is the where to do it!

Get decorations in a set until you win the rare one

The rare decoration is marked by a blue question mark – that’s a special one, and that’s what you should be aiming for. The more decorations you unlock, the bigger your chances to get it. Just make sure you don’t tap the double arrows icon, because that shuffles the board and has you start over (and therefore decreases your chances of getting the rare decoration). And don’t hurry to sell them all, always keep at least a couple in your inventory for when you unlock a new area.

How to get more Splashcash & Keys

These are really difficult to get: Spalshcash is the premium currency and can be mostly obtained by spending real money. However, the fish will drop some for free every now and then, but you’ll have some serious waiting to do in order to get a decent amount. Keys are offered when you level up, so always feed the fish and release them to gain experience and level up – you can use the keys to unlock new areas and new sets of fish too!

Keep an eye on your inventory

Always know what type of materials you need for your next fish and work to get those. Sell all the materials you don’t need, but make sure that you actually have enough to be able to get some fish after you release those that you already have. You just don’t want to end up forced to spend Splashcash on materials because you don’t have enough of those for any type of fish!

FAQ

1. How do I make a fish flee?

When a fish is scared it will swim away faster than usual and with a trail of bubbles behind it - this will last around 2-3 seconds and then it will slow down and resume normal swimming. To scare a fish/make it flee take a larger fish and swim it into the fish you wish to scare and it will shoot away. If this is a camera mission you may need to try this more than once as they can swim offscreen faster than you can snap a picture!

2. How can I complete the 'Uncommon Sense' mission?

Having 30 'Uncommon Fish' in your reef will help out with this one! Check your Aquapedia to see which fish are 'uncommon' - it will say this under the yellow star on each species page.

You will need to hatch 30 uncommon fish into your reef - But you need to keep them all swimming in there until you reach 30. it will keep a track on your current numbers and how many you have to go under the missions icon.

Once the mission is completed you are free to release the 'Uncommon' fish and move onto different rarities!

3. How do I make a school of fish?

Tap on a fish to be the leader of your school, it is best to pick a larger fish as smaller fish will follow bigger fish. Drag your lead fish past others of the same species to get them to join in swimming. Sometimes you may need to go back if some don't join in though! Once you have your school, keep swimming them around as a group with your leader to fill up and complete the mission bar or if it is for a picture, release the leader and snap a pic!

4. How many fish can I have in my reef?

The amount of room in your reef will change each time you level up in Splash. You can see how many fish, jellyfish, sharks etc. you are able to have on the Aquapedia button in the top right hand side of the screen the number will show the current number/how many you can have e.g. 23/40

Currently, the maximum reef level is 48 and maximum total of species in a reef of this size is 63.

Capture photographs of the amazing fish in your collection, take part in events to collect new fish species and underwater decorations, and connect with friends to exchange gifts for your ocean reefs! Splash: Fish Sanctuary is overflowing with eye-catching sea life, beautiful ocean environments, and relaxing underwater gameplay that will keep you entertained for hours.

The game is great. The graphics are adorable, and it's quite calming to play. I really appreciate being able to access the options menu before having to sit through a long tutorial. The only downside is the coin system. You have to use coins to feed the fish, but the plants that generate them can't store coins. If you don't tap them every five minutes, you may only get around 20 coins. This means that no matter how many coins I save up during the day, they're all gone by the time I wake up or finish work.

This game is absolutely stunning with all the marine life facts and gorgeous graphics. It's so soothing to play with simple controls. I'd rate it 5 stars, but just wish that the animal waiting times were shorter. It would be great to play for a longer stretch instead of having to wait hours before coming back to feed them. I find it frustrating as I want to enjoy playing the game for a longer period at once.

Playing this game is so much fun! This is actually my second time playing it. The first time I couldn't connect to Facebook to save my progress, so when I changed phones, I lost everything. But that's not a big deal because the game is just as enjoyable on my second playthrough as it was the first time.

Playing this game is so much fun! The colors and the calming atmosphere make it really enjoyable. Sometimes, though, it feels like collecting enough items to make certain fish takes forever. Having to log in many times a day to create fish and gather the necessary items can start feeling monotonous. I understand they want to prolong the game's excitement, but sometimes it really slows down. I've been working hard for a whole week just to make three blue cheek butterfly fish to complete a goal!

You crack open eggs, which are actually rocks in this game. Afterwards, you feed the fish and set them free. It's a calm and relaxing game with a Zen vibe. Some information pops up too fast and small to read. Luckily, the important stuff stays until you touch it, which is good. It would be better if there was a way to shuffle the turtle out of the way occasionally, but it's not a big deal.

The game is fun, but leveling up takes too much time. This can make it a bit dull after a while. The fish look very realistic even though they are just cartoons. There's a great selection of different fish in the game. It would be helpful to know what food a fish needs before crafting them. One good thing about this game is that random ads don't suddenly appear. You only see advertisements when you choose to watch a video with the snail.

I love that on any device my progress stays the same. The other day I had a terrible time with a farming game. Even though I used Google sign-in when I switched devices, I had to redo tutorials and now my whole farm and all my purchases are gone. This game is great for teaching kids about conservation and it's so relaxing.

I really enjoy collecting all the different types of fish available in the game. But, the video snail is pretty much useless to me. I don't get enough rewards for watching the videos - only 1 cash each time. The gap between the keys I earn and how quickly I can unlock new fish species or habitats is too wide. I now have several new kinds of fish and a new habitat to unlock, but it seems almost impossible to achieve because of the large amount of keys I need to earn. Despite these challenges, I find joy in discovering new fish and taking care of them by feeding them.

I found this awesome game called Splash: Ocean Sanctuary! It's so cool and exciting. You can play without buying anything. The coral in the game makes coins for you all by itself. And the best part is, you get to discover different species while playing. There's even a place called the ocean Pedia where you can save pictures of the creatures you find. I totally recommend this game, it's so much fun! 😊😍😚🙆❤💙💚💛💜💓💕💖💗💘💝💞💟👍👌👏👄💋

I am so amazed by the actual animals featured in the game! Most games just invent fantasy creatures but this one goes the extra mile by categorizing them, explaining their role in the ecosystem, and listing their habitats. They even included corals and sea grass! It's like reading a short and fun Wikipedia article. The animals themselves are quite lively - they react when something bumps into them and gather at the feeder when they're hungry. However, there are some downsides to the game. The controls are really tricky, especially when trying to maneuver the fish. Additionally, the game consumes a lot of power and can make your device heat up. Lastly, there could be improvements in the egg material drop rate.
