This app has been giving me trouble for years. Even on my old phone, the compass was always wrong and kept drifting a lot. I ignored it for a long time because my phone was ancient. Now I upgraded to the new Google Pixel 6 Pro, but the same problems persist. The compass is off by more than 90 degrees, and when I hold the phone still, the screen keeps moving around as if I'm spinning in circles. This issue happened on two different phones, so I don't think it's my fault.

This app deserves 5 stars, but there are a few issues that need to be fixed. For example, the alerts don't provide enough information when directing you to look for something specific in the app. Additionally, I wish you could zoom out further as it can be difficult to see details with the current level of zoom. Zooming in works well, but zooming out to widescreen view needs improvement.

In the past, everything was fine. But now, when I try to use the default orientation, no matter what, I always end up facing North. Even when I was looking towards the East with the moon, it seemed like I was facing North and would get thrown back. At most, I could get a 180-degree view. It's okay for getting a rough idea of where things are, but if you don't know what you're looking for or can't read other star maps, I would recommend trying something else.

This app is great. It's really accurate, almost like it can lead you right to what you want to see. You'll get notifications in advance about any cool happenings in the sky. You can also adjust how you see constellations, which is pretty cool.

I like looking at the shapes of the constellations. The information about the stars and planets is really useful. However, the compass is usually wrong, which is annoying. It's great for observing the night sky, but I wish the compass was more accurate or could be adjusted. I reside in the northern United States.

Awesome app! Used it on a moonlit beach walk with my man. Loved seeing constellations and planets while star gazing. Get the full version for searching. Wish it had search for space station and satellites, but not a big deal. Highly recommend if you love star gazing! 😄
