Starbucks - Order & pay coffee

Awesome! So, there's this thing with the mobile ordering app where choosing a store can be a bit shaky. It feels like you have to turn on your GPS just to see your favorite stores list. I'd love it if they made it simpler to pick stores from your favorites. And, finding stores on the map is a bit tricky for me too. It's not that it's all messed up, just that it could be more user-friendly, you know?

What really makes a difference are the employees at Starbucks, no matter whether you're in Seattle, Washington D.C., or anywhere else. These staff members are the key to the app's success, whether they are working in stores or as programmers. Personally, I enjoy using the drive-through for live ordering, but it's also great that I can easily grab my online order at the window. The app is super convenient for reloading funds with debit/credit cards or Starbucks gift cards. Plus, it provides accurate info on your star balance, locations, and store hours. It's an essential app for both home and travel use!

I really like using this app! It's actually one of my top choices for ordering food on the go. What I usually do is place my order on the app, then drive to the store and pick it up there. That way, I avoid waiting in line at the drive-thru or inside the store. My order is almost always spot on, and I'm encouraged to try new drinks or order my favorites more often with the Star Dashes. The rewards program is straightforward and simple to use, plus the menu has a nice variety of options. And I have to mention how much I appreciate the tipping feature!

It would be awesome if we could redeem multiple star-based beverages in a single mobile order. Currently, if you want to use stars for more than one item, you have to create separate orders, which can create extra work for the baristas. Mobile ordering should really be available at all stores, not just some. It would also be fantastic if there was an option to delay the order. For example, placing the order now but scheduling to pick it up in 20 minutes.

Oh, I think the app is pretty awesome and convenient to use! The only issue I'm facing is with redeeming my purchases for star rewards at the store. It would be really nice if they could make it simpler, like letting us scan receipts directly from the app. I've even tried texting my receipts to the number provided but haven't received any response yet. I buy a lot of Starbucks products from grocery stores, so it would be fantastic to earn stars for those purchases as well!

The only thing that bugs me a little is that the app lists all Starbucks locations without telling you which ones are run by Starbucks directly and which are run by other companies. I've heard that in some of these non-corporate stores, you can't even use your stars for rewards. It would be so helpful if the app could tell us which are the official Starbucks stores where we can redeem our rewards. Maybe they could just add a note like "full service" or "reward compatible" to make it clearer.

So, the app mostly works well for me. Sometimes, though, it struggles to locate places near me even when my GPS is all set to high accuracy. The one thing that bugs me is that it requires me to have either a gift card or a credit card preloaded. I'd rather just pay each time I use it. Oh, and don't get me started on the Starbucks rewards program - it's a bit of a mess. It's so confusing trying to figure out how many stars you need for a reward, and if you don't use them within a certain timeframe, poof, they're gone from your account. Such a pain!

It's like super tough to pick the right spot. I mean, I could literally be standing right in front of a store, and the "nearby" feature will still point me to a location across town. And you know how it is, many towns have several stores, some even on the same street or in the same place. Plus, you can't cancel the selection. So, either you have to take a long trip for that coffee fix or just accept the extra cost. It's all because they won't make the app show the closest location. So frustrating!

Using apps to order food is super convenient, especially when you're busy and don't want to stand around in stores stressing out the workers! I love how easy it is to earn star rewards with Starbucks' app - definitely worth it if you're a frequent customer. I've never run into any problems, everything is straightforward, and I appreciate being able to see what's in stock at my local store. It's a great way to save time, which is why I use apps for all my favorite restaurants!
