Solution for duplicated albums
As we all know, some albums, despite containing exactly the same songs, are sometimes treated as completely separate albums in this application. This issue has occurred in my case, for example, the song „We don’t trust you” appears in my listening history as having been played for 44 minutes on one version of the album and 200 minutes on another.
Manually correcting all duplicate albums would undoubtedly be a challenging task for the developers. To address this, I suggest introducing a feature that allows users to report duplicate albums. By clicking a dedicated button on an album, users could flag it as a duplicate. If a large number of users report the same issue, the report could be forwarded to the developers for review.
Another option would be to implement a community-driven system. Instead of sending the report directly to the developers, users (who listened to each album) could vote on whether the duplicate report is accurate by using a thumbs up or thumbs down. If the majority agree that the albums are duplicates, the system could automatically merge the listening statistics for those albums and songs
Comprehensive and precise statistics about your cherished songs, artists, or playlists:
• Play count (frequency and minutes listened)
• Popularity of the song/artist/playlist on Spotify
• For artists/albums, discover your top tracks
• Music genre classification (lively, energetic, danceable, instrumental, etc.)
• The most frequent listeners of the song/artist/album
• Your lifetime streaming data for that song/artist/album
And various other metrics
To sum up, Stats.fm for Spotify stands out as the essential Spotify sidekick.
