80 Mbps download and 15 Mbps upload speeds with Verizon SIM. Upload was slightly better with Sprint at the same location. Not sure if it stays fast with the $55 plan, but you can choose your carrier from Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T. Appreciation to those who made it possible.

I really liked Straight Talk in the beginning, probably would have rated it 10/10. But with their switch to 5G, I've been experiencing a lot of issues. My calls drop, internet cuts off frequently, and I often see "no service" on my phone. The signal strength is poor, messages don't come or go smoothly, and I find myself contacting them monthly to fix phone problems. I'm considering changing services, but I hope they can resolve these issues soon.

You had trouble with logging in. You tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice. It used to work fine, but now the login screen flips three times before you can even type. After contacting customer service, they managed to resolve the problem. Everything is working fine now.

The service on both phones on my account is terrible since Verizon took over. My signal at home went from full bars to nothing. My girlfriend's phone can't even receive text pictures and she has to use Wi-Fi and a different app to talk to me. I have no signal now and I pay too much for basically a useless phone. I called for help but got nowhere and the service is just awful. If it switches to 5G, all my calls drop and nothing works. I'm thinking of switching.

I feel disappointed because when I tried to add a plan, it only extended until the next service date without giving me an option. I thought I was using my points for the next service time, but it turns out I was only getting 6 more days on the current plan I already paid for. If I had known this, I would have waited to use my points until the exact renewal day. It took me 2 years just to accumulate enough points for my reward.

The phone service was good before, but now we're facing one issue after another. We need to call multiple times to fix things. Sometimes our calls get cut off. The app is not functioning properly, so we tried getting help at Walmart, but the issue persisted and we had to call for assistance again. I've had enough of straight talk. I recommend avoiding it. It's unreliable. Moreover, after a while, the "unlimited" data actually slows down significantly, making it practically unusable. This is clearly false advertising.
