For more than 35 years, I've soaked up Charlie Peacock's music and writing. His words, like cherished coffee with a dear friend, stir something deep within me. I thank the Lord for guiding me to grasp the wisdom and truth in his work. Thank you, Charlie and Substack, for offering fresh avenues to listen to God's heartbeat.

Did you know there's really great journalism on Substack? It stands out from other media sources. This website is one of those places that offers high-quality insight. The current state of politics seems to be in disarray. The old ways of operating are not effective anymore. It's time for us to think critically and come together to navigate through these challenges. We need to reclaim our mental clarity, examine our thoughts, and start paying attention to our inner wisdom, connecting with the natural flow of life. Instead of relying heavily on artificial intelligence, perhaps we should embrace more genuine human connection. The answers lie within us; we just need to tap into our inner selves and detach from the noise around us. Thank you.

So, the app doesn't let you unsubscribe from newsletters. You have to use a browser if you want to. Kind of defeats the purpose of having the app, right? You might as well stick to reading things on the website because the app doesn't do everything. I thought apps were supposed to be useful, right? Well, not this one. Maybe they'll improve it someday and then I'll give it another shot. For now, I'm getting rid of it.

This community is amazing! You can find such great long-form content here, especially literary and political essays. It's like X, but even better and healthier for a world that used to have much longer attention spans. So beautiful! I would definitely give it 5 stars without a doubt.
